Brazilian by birth and German when it comes to drinking beer...
What do I do here?
At OVERCROSS, I am responsible for managing our products in Latin America. My task is to find products that appeal to our customers, are interesting, and can offer unforgettable experiences. Personally, I place great value on products that are adventure-oriented. I firmly believe that we at OVERCROSS can make any adventure possible!
Qualification
In Brazil, I studied music education as my first course of study and worked for years at a leading eco-tourism company. In Germany, I studied interdisciplinary American studies, focusing on relations between the USA and China, diplomacy, and politics. This knowledge helps me enormously at OVERCROSS, as many of my tasks involve B2B, AI, negotiations, and similar matters.
Life Experience
I was born in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and have always been professionally involved in tourism. I never felt I belonged to a specific place – the longing to discover other cultures was always present. Now I am a father and can no longer simply travel around the world with a backpack, but perhaps I can soon take my son on an adventure. Maybe even on board a powerful IVECO truck.
My three favorite countries
Australia, Brazil, Spain
What I wish for from the Fairy Godmother…
I think I have already led a quite eventful life. I am so grateful that at the moment I just want to let fate take its course!
Significant experiences in my life
"I go to the hospital!" "If I can't travel anymore" "This adventure I want to experience in the next five years" "When I can no longer travel" "From the good fairy I wish that I never lose my spirit of exploration and always find new inspirations for exciting projects.""I work here as a product manager for everything related to Africa. Additionally, I am responsible for everything related to accounting and controlling, so the rescue of the company." "From small to large. My career began with training as a tourism salesman. Subsequently, I completed a bachelor's degree in tourism management and directly pursued a master's in sustainable tourism management." "Grown up in the tourism branch - a career in tourism. From training as a tourism salesman, through an economics bachelor's degree with a focus on tourism management, to a master's degree with a focus on sustainable tourism management." "My three favorite countries" "South Africa, Ghana, and the Canary Islands." "A satisfied and confident society that wishes to travel, which brings the tourism industry to boom." "When you fall, you get back up. I have often fallen but always gotten back up. And the tourism industry has also fallen due to Covid but has gotten back up again. Staying down is not an option." "This adventure I want to experience in the next five years 4x4 through Kenya and Tanzania." "Enjoying life at home with a cold beer." "Chick from Overcross" "What am I doing here?" "I am the all-rounder for everything related to social media, graphics, video, SEO, and our website – and of course for the boss's coffee. ;)" "I am currently doing my training at OVERCROSS. Thanks to my hobbies, I have already gained a lot of experience with graphics and video – which really benefits me in my work here." "I was born in Ukraine and completed music and regular school there. Right after finishing school, in the middle of the global lockdown, the war began. After a month of traveling through various countries in Europe, I finally ended up in Germany. I have now been living and learning here for over three years. My German is quite good by now – even though I still can't drink as much beer in one evening as an average German. :)" "I haven't traveled to so many countries yet to name clear favorites. But home will always be my beloved country, no matter how many places I will discover." "I wish that no one else has to experience what war means." "When you travel from country to country with two suitcases, your mother, and your dog for a month – without knowing if a home or safety awaits you somewhere – your view of the world changes. Maybe we should offer such a tour as an adventure trip for the brave? What do you think?)" "I dream of traveling to Asia, especially Japan. But my biggest adventure would be a tour through my homeland as soon as it is safe again. I want to visit the ghost town of Prypjat and explore the Carpathians." "When I can no longer travel..."Then I would just stroll around with my friends on Google Maps – which we already do regularly. So I'm basically an experienced e-tourist. ;)

My wish to the fairy godmother...
Never to lose my drive and myself.
Significant events in my life
It's hard to say what has really been significant. I would say that something extraordinary and cool has happened in the last three years.
An adventure I want to experience in the next five years
In the next five years, I definitely want to visit Everest or at least its base camp. I don't want to be just another Everest tourist, but to experience and feel the life of the "mountain dwellers".
If I could no longer travel
Then I would buy armor and a huge sword and participate in Buhurt fights. Would I do that if I could travel? Definitely!

Maya Schiessler
What am I doing here?
Currently, I am still in the training program to become the EU Tour Manager of Overcross.
Qualifications:
I grew up in the Canary Islands and recognized early how important it is for people to be well taken care of during their holidays. As a young woman, I started a small village organic shop with a friend and a few years later launched a bakery. My strength is my excellent customer service, which qualifies me as a career changer at Overcross.
Background:
Growing up on the Canary Island of Lanzarote, I love the peaceful life here. Running the organic shop and my small bakery, with all the lovely customers, was a wonderful experience.
Now that I have become a mother, I also spend a lot of time with my son.
My 3 favorite countries:
Besides my island, I am most fascinated by Switzerland, France, and Holland. The nature in Northern Europe has a fascinating beauty that is different from here in the South.
From the good fairy, I wish for...
Peace, health, and lots of love for us all.
Key experiences in my life:
The birth of my child was the most important moment of my life so far. Such a small being, just in my tummy and now already out in the world, is a miracle of nature.
This adventure I want to experience in the next five years:
Every day is an adventure, and it’s often the little things that bring the greatest joy.
What would you do if traveling were no longer an option?
I would continue to travel in my imagination and accompany people virtually on their journeys.

Russia - so close and yet so far. Europe, however, completely incomprehensible. And much more than just Red Square and the Kremlin. These are the impressions that remain when you spend a longer time in the country.
After 7 years, I have seen quite a bit, but the desire to continue to discover and explore grows steadily. And again and again the realization: "Well, I haven't experienced that yet."

The polar bear
Motorcycle tour guide for France and legal twists. Responsible for law & order, I prefer to work behind the scenes since 2005 and keep Joe on a tight leash.
Following the motto: sugar for the employees and a whip for the boss, we head toward new adventures daily with a lot of fun.
Nitin Ullal
The first tours with Joe were (2011) in Switzerland and Germany, from curve to curve, until the loss of the profile ;-)
Over the years, I have repeatedly tried to persuade Joe and a few other motorcyclists to go on a Western Alps tour. After many years of friendship and 10,000 kilometers in the Western Alps, we have had one or another legendary Western Alps tour! Today, I have traveled beyond the Western Alps and now in India, moving from highlight to highlight with Royal Enfield on tour.
Here is the adventure, and I'm looking forward to having you join us; see you in India.

Whoever entrusts themselves to Romania entrusts themselves to Paul and can only embark on a sensational journey.
