Take a seat in a comfortable coach and let yourself be driven to the most beautiful places of this multicultural metropolis by the sea. A top stop is "Mrs. Macquarie's Chair" in the Botanical Gardens, overlooking the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, both photogenic landmarks of this exciting city. Sydney also has wonderful beachside: Feel the soft sand barefoot at the famous Bondi Beach and watch the surfers riding the waves acrobatically - what a pleasure. At lunchtime, a boat awaits you for a picturesque journey through the huge natural harbor, lunch on board is included. And what do you feel like afterwards? We are happy to bring you back to the hotel or you can take a walk through the city on your own. You will experience all sorts of things, we promise you!

Transfer to the airport and flight from Sydney to Alice Springs (THE FLIGHT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TRAVEL PRICE). After arrival, we will first take the time to explore Alice Springs. A visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service is a must here. The way the "flying doctors" keep the remote Outback alive is truly admirable. The old Telegraph Station will familiarize you with the adventurous history of the Outback town. This is followed by a visit to the unique "Desert Park." In the open enclosures, which reflect typical Australian landscapes, many endemic animal and bird species can be observed. In the darkened enclosures, there is a variety of nocturnal reptiles and marsupials to see, which are rarely seen in the wild.

In the early morning, you can embark on a challenging hike to the rock plateau above Kings Canyon (approx. 3 hours, surefootedness required). Magnificent views compensate for the hardships in the desert climate. Afterwards, we continue to Ayers Rock, which now bears its traditional name Uluru again. We circle the mystical monolith in a pleasantly air-conditioned tour bus, but you can also take short hikes to noteworthy places at the foot of the mountain. The day ends atmospherically at a viewpoint: with a glass of champagne at sunset, when the play of colors of the rock shines in changing shades of red.

A day at your leisure. You can take an optional trip to the ancient rainforest of Daintree National Park north of Port Douglas, for example. Or you can explore the vibrant tropical city or just lounge by the hotel pool after the exciting impressions.

On today's day trip, you will travel by a historic train through the rainforest up to the Atherton Tablelands. A very special journey with a wide view of the picturesque Pacific coast at the Great Barrier Reef. The last stop is the picturesque jungle village of Kuranda, where you learn about the history, mythology, and traditional way of life of the region's indigenous people. In the afternoon, you will board a gondola, the longest cable car in the Southern Hemisphere. Breathe deeply and take off! What a fulfilling day!
