3rd Day Wed Blue Mountains Day Tour

A fine, pale blue mist lies over the mountains west of Sydney and gives it a mysterious aura. The cause is the vast eucalyptus forests that allow essential oils to evaporate. See for yourself on a fulfilling day trip to the most beautiful and exciting places in this unique UNESCO World Heritage Site. In hot summers, Sydneysiders come here to relax in the always cool, temperate altitude. You will find a breathtaking canyon landscape with the stone-carved Three Sisters, powerful waterfalls, dreamy villages, and the occasional adventure. Experience the Blue Mountains as a ''blue wonder“.

4. Day to Sydney - Alice Springs

Transfer to the airport and flight from Sydney to Alice Springs (THE FLIGHT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TRAVEL PRICE). After arrival, we will first take the time to explore Alice Springs. A visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service is a must here. The way the "flying doctors" keep the remote Outback alive is truly admirable. The old Telegraph Station will familiarize you with the adventurous history of the Outback town. This is followed by a visit to the unique "Desert Park." In the open enclosures, which reflect typical Australian landscapes, many endemic animal and bird species can be observed. In the darkened enclosures, there is a variety of nocturnal reptiles and marsupials to see, which are rarely seen in the wild.

5th Day From Alice Springs - Kings Canyon

The drive through the expanses of the Red Centre offers unforgettable views of the almost deserted wilderness. A captivating desert beauty awaits you in Watarrka National Park: The red rock backdrop of Kings Canyon, which glows in the evening light, impresses with its 100 m high, rugged cliffs. Where roots still find water, a surprisingly lush vegetation covers the splendid landscape. A short hike (about 45 min) along the canyon floor gives you a first impression, and you can decide whether you are ready for a longer circular hike the next morning.

6. Day Sa Kings Canyon - Uluru (Ayers Rock)

In the early morning, you can embark on a challenging hike to the rock plateau above Kings Canyon (approx. 3 hours, surefootedness required). Magnificent views compensate for the hardships in the desert climate. Afterwards, we continue to Ayers Rock, which now bears its traditional name Uluru again. We circle the mystical monolith in a pleasantly air-conditioned tour bus, but you can also take short hikes to noteworthy places at the foot of the mountain. The day ends atmospherically at a viewpoint: with a glass of champagne at sunset, when the play of colors of the rock shines in changing shades of red.
