You don't need off-road experience for any of our USA motorcycle tours. Route 66 through America is our most relaxed ride, with long, straight highways built for cruising. USA Motorcycle Trip through the Wild West and the Harley Davidson tour through Canada and the USA raise the bar with mountain passes in the Rockies and Cascades, Death Valley heat and changeable weather, so solid road experience and stamina for long days in the saddle matter more than technical skill.
None of our USA tours allow you to bring your own bike. You ride a rental machine we prepare for the trip, usually a current Harley-Davidson model serviced and ready for the stage ahead, and groups stay small with a maximum of 12 riders so your guide can keep an eye on everyone.
Expect long, mostly straight stretches of highway with several hundred kilometers between stops, broken up by photo stops and national park visits. Days start with a briefing and a GPS track for the stage, then hours in the saddle before you reach motorcycle-friendly motels or apartments for the night, Route 66 often in historic diners and motels along the route, the Wild West and Canada & USA tours near the parks themselves. Guides ride with you throughout and are there for technical support.
Solid road experience is enough for every USA tour, no off-road skills needed. The Wild West and the Canada & USA tour add mountain passes in the Rockies and Cascades and changeable weather, so stamina over long days in the saddle matters more than technique.
