Free Day in Cody

Today is your day to just leave your motorcycle boots behind and relax in Cody. Cody was founded in 1901 and is located 52 miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Cody was founded by William Frederick Cody, alias "Buffalo Bill." He crossed the region in the 1870s. He was so impressed by the development potential, the fertile soil, the great landscape, the hunting, and the proximity to Yellowstone National Park that he returned in the mid-1890s to establish a town. Cody has many activities to offer, from white-water rafting to visiting the Buffalo Bill museums or Cody Firearms.
