Romania's off-road tours cover a wide range, from the comfort-oriented Carpathians trip on mostly paved mountain passes with light gravel sections, to the camping tour billed as an extreme off-road adventure through the Cindrel Mountains for confident, experienced drivers. The winter tour adds snow and ice to the mix, while the snowmobile trip is built for beginners and experienced riders alike, with guides adjusting the pace to the group.
On the camping, comfort and winter tours you drive your own SUV or off-road vehicle in convoy with the group and a multilingual local guide; Romania sits in the middle of Europe, so you simply drive there yourself, no shipping required like on overseas trips. The snowmobile trip works differently: the snowmobile and its fuel are included in the price, one rider per machine, so no vehicle of your own is needed.
