What's included in a New Zealand motorcycle tour price?
Your rental motorcycle with comprehensive insurance, an English-speaking guide, a support vehicle with driver, daily briefings and all the overnight stays and breakfasts listed in the itinerary are included. A mandatory travel protection certificate under German law, §651r BGB, is part of the price too. Flights to New Zealand and travel health insurance are not included.
Do I need to bring my own motorcycle?
No, you don't bring your own bike to New Zealand. You ride a prepared rental motorcycle included in the price; on the Luxury tour that's a category A BMW, an F800 GS, F800GT or F700GS. Own-bike shipping isn't offered for this destination.
How big are the riding groups?
Groups run up to 12 riders, guided by an English-speaking tour guide who briefs the group on route and conditions before each day's ride. That keeps the pace manageable and leaves room for individual attention on both the 21-day and the 16-day tour.
Which tour suits my riding level?
Both the 21-day North and South Island tour and the 16-day Luxury tour are rated for beginners and run entirely on sealed roads. The difference is trip length and accommodation standard, not difficulty, so pick based on how much time and comfort you want.
How does booking and the deposit work?
After your enquiry you'll receive a personal offer including the mandatory travel protection certificate under §651r BGB. Your booking becomes binding once you confirm it, and you'll then get the tour book, packing list and all further details.
What isn't included in the tour price?

What riding gear do I need to bring?
Bring your own certified helmet, riding jacket, gloves and boots suited to changeable weather, since these tours run from geothermal plains to alpine passes and coastal rain. A side case and top case for luggage are already fitted to your rental bike.
