The Journey

With the motorcycle to the TT Racetrack on Isle of Man

The toughest motorcycle adventure crew takes you to the toughest road race in the world, the mother of all road races - the "Isle of Man". Michael Dunlop, John McGuiness, and Guy Martin - big names, legends, and favorites from recent years stand alongside hundreds of other pros, rookies, and daredevils on their racing machines at the start, praying for glory, honor, and victory or simply to survive. One start makes them heroes, a victory turns them into legends. But each year the island demands its tribute. For many, the start of the TT is also the last race of their lives. Sad, but a reality and a reason for the myth of the "Isle of Man". Road racers - the last gladiators of our time, and the Isle of Man is their arena. The coliseum of motorsport. OVERCROSS® takes you and your motorcycle straight into this motorsport coliseum, right into this arena. Without racing stress and danger, but relaxed and exclusive in the OVERCROSS® racetruck, we travel from southern Germany to Calais, cross over to Dover, traverse England to then take the second ferry from Liverpool to Douglas. Your ride share and motorcycle transport to the TT.

9:

On these days, training and qualifying sessions take place from 6 PM. Before that, you have the entire island to yourselves to explore the track and visit the various shows.

RST Superbike TT Race Today is the first race day! The field of riders is flying around the 37.7-mile-long track on production-like superbikes. Production-like? Okay, granted, the bikes can still be recognized as Gixxers, Fireblades, or Yamaha R1s as well as Ten Kawasaki or BMW Beemers. But of course, they're fully tuned for victory and packed with factory parts until the race doctor comes. 230hp? Yes, that's a good start. It's hard to say where the upper horsepower limit is at this point. But it is certainly well over 250hp. Look forward to the premier class of Manx races and cheer for your favorite brand and rider loudly from the front yards of the islanders. Sidecar TT Race1 One has the throttle and the handlebars firmly in hand, the other is crouching in a small coffin-like sidecar next to him. No, this is not the beginning of a Berlin darkroom romance. This is sidecar racing. These outfits are flat on the asphalt pressed suicide short track rockets with a two-man crew. At the TT races with a maximum of 600cc engines because otherwise, they are simply way too powerful and could never unleash their performance. The passengers actually sit voluntarily in the sidecar, and indeed, the racing outfit would not work without them. They have the same share in the team's success as the rider. However, in an emergency, they cannot operate the throttle or brake. Incredible what the guys in the sidecars achieve. You have to see it up close!

Race break MAD SUNDAY Today is the famous Mad Sunday. State of emergency on the island! Douglas becomes a biker heaven, a tire and clutch hell, total escalation on two wheels or three and often just one. Males stripping, females drifting around and vice versa. Rubber and gasoline in the air, a pint of bitter or beer in hand, all of this before thousands of screaming fans of the island. It is unbelievable and our guide has already packed enough aspirin for the day after!

Our tour guide is happy to answer any questions about the day-by-day route, stops, and details.

Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 1 Today, the little sisters of the superbikes are taking to the start! From Triumph to Ducati to Yamaha and Honda, the small four- and three-cylinder engines scream the pistons out of the combustion chambers and chase after the best lap times with the throttle wide open. In hard fights without any fear of contact and without regard for losses, the baby burners race straight from the start in the high five-digit RPM range towards the finish line. RL360 Quantum Superstock TT Race

Race break

Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 2 Ladies and Gentleman Round 2 Second race day of the ADHS racing class of the Isle of Man. As on day one, the teenagers will engage in a battle for glory and honor on the world's most notorious road racing track, the Isle of Man. The fastest crawling group in the world is here for the final race! Bennetts Lightweight TT Race The Lightweight TT Race is an interesting racing class with twin and V-engines up to 650cm³. This means that many of the motorcycles used are those we know from driving school or the first two years of obtaining a driving license. Whether Suzuki SV 650 or Kawasaki ER-6 or a Yamaha MT07, the production-based racing machines engage in thrilling position battles and offer a great show on the Mountain Course of the Isle of Man. Here, it's very clear what potential lies in the small, agile street bikes! SES Zero TT Race The Zero TT racing class is an electric motorcycle class that started for the first time in 2009 as part of the ManX TT Isle of Man racing series. The TTXGP Time Trials Extreme Grand Prix on June 12, 2009, on the Isle of Man was the world's first motorcycle race for electric motorcycles. Thus, the oldest and most notorious motorcycle race in the world has in a way provided a platform for the future of motorcycle racing. Over the years, the electric racers have become faster and more reliable. Currently, the track record of the TT Zero is held by John McGuinness with 18:58:743 min and an average speed of 119:729 mph. It's not long before the magical 130 mph barrier will also be broken for the electric racers. Perhaps already this year? If that should be the case, you will be there live on that day that will go down in motorsport history with Overcross.

Race break

Sidecar TT Race2 Second race day for the sidecars. Pat and Patter, Chip and Chap, Susi and Strolch, the double Lottchen and Dumb and Dumber mount their death tandem and race around the Mountain Course with the cables fully taut until the tires whistle. Everything that can be said about these ultra-fast racing machines has actually been said. Fire free and GO! Pokerstars Senior TT Race
