The Journey

Level 1 enduro training in Germany for beginners

Over two days you systematically build the key enduro fundamentals: the right seated and standing position, balance at a standstill, clean braking and cornering technique on changing surfaces. All you need to bring is a valid driving licence and off-road protective gear: protectors for arms, shoulders and back, gloves, a full-face helmet and enduro boots. If you need one, you can add a suitable rental motorcycle.

After Level 1 you are ready for easy off-road sections. Our motorcycle tours in Europe show you which trip fits next.

Service

Must have:

  • You hold a valid driving licence.
  • You wear off-road protective gear: protectors for arms, shoulders and back, gloves, a full-face helmet and enduro boots.
  • Can I take part in the training with my own motorcycle?
Yes, many participants ride their own motorcycle, and that is of course possible. It must be road-legal, suitable for off-road use (2-strokes are not permitted) and in perfect technical condition. A good standard enduro tyre is sufficient; you need a 50:50 tyre such as the Dunlop Trailmax Raid or a comparable choice. If in doubt, just get in touch and we will be happy to advise you.
  • Do you offer travel cancellation insurance or can you recommend a provider?
We do not offer our own travel cancellation insurance. On comparison portals such as Check24, however, you can find a suitable offer in just a few clicks.
  • Am I liable for damage to my rental motorcycle?
Damage over EUR 1,000.00 caused by the renter is borne by the renter and will be invoiced. Damage up to EUR 1,000.00 is borne by the rental provider. Damage to the motorcycle or to persons resulting from gross negligence or intent on the part of the renter is borne entirely by the renter.
  • Does the training take place in bad weather?
As a rule, our trainings take place in any weather. Only in extreme weather conditions do we reserve the right to cancel a training. In that case, we will find a suitable replacement date together with you.
  • Where is the meeting point and when should I be there?
The meeting point and registration for all trainings is the barracks right next to the training grounds: ENDURO CENTER MAMMUTPARK, Yorck-Straße 5, 37603 Stadtoldendorf. We meet no later than 8:30 am; the training starts promptly at 9 am and ends at around 4 to 4:30 pm.
  • What equipment or protective clothing do I need?
You need complete motorcycle protective clothing: a motorcycle suit with protectors, helmet, gloves and sturdy motorcycle boots. This gear is very important for your safety. “Normal” boots are usually not enough, and without sufficiently sturdy motorcycle boots you cannot take part. You can rent motorcycle boots in all sizes from us; ideally let us know before the training, as the number of pairs is limited.
  • How is catering organised during the training, and is it included?
One lunch with a non-alcoholic drink per training day is included in the price. In between, fruit, muesli bars and water are available all day, plus coffee in the afternoon.
