Our motorcycle tours in the Philippines cover two very different profiles. The 13-day North Luzon tour rides winding mountain roads past the Banaue rice terraces and the historic town of Vigan, mostly on asphalt with shorter unpaved sections, a good match for riders with solid road experience and a bit of off-road feel. The 10-day enduro tour across Negros, Siquijor and Bohol is built for experienced riders: mud tracks, narrow hanging bridges and volcano trails around Kanlaon call for confident standing and a calm head on loose ground.
You ride a motorcycle provided on site on both tours; bringing your own bike isn't an option here, since the islands are only connected by ferry between stages. On the enduro tour, daily stages run up to around 150 km over trails, gravel and hanging bridges, while the North Luzon tour keeps shorter, more winding stages with more time for photo stops at the rice terraces and coastal towns.
A typical day starts with a briefing on the stage ahead, GPS track included, before the group of up to 10 riders heads out with a support vehicle and mechanic close behind on the technical sections. In the evening you'll find a solid 3-star apartment on North Luzon or simpler lodging on the smaller islands, ready for the next stage in the morning.
Experience required
The North Luzon tour needs solid road experience with some confidence on short unpaved sections. The Negros, Siquijor and Bohol enduro tour demands real off-road skills: riding standing up, braking in mud and crossing hanging bridges.
Own bike allowed
No, on both Philippine tours you ride a motorcycle provided on site. Because of the island layout and the ferry crossings between stages, riders don't bring their own machine.

What's included in the price of a Philippines motorcycle tour?
Your experienced local guide, a support vehicle with a mechanic, daily route briefings with GPS tracks, accommodation as listed for your tour and all the ferry tickets you need between islands. International flights and travel health insurance are not included on either tour.
Do I need to bring my own motorcycle?
No, on the Philippines you ride a motorcycle provided on site for the full trip. Because of the island hopping and ferry crossings between stages, bringing your own bike isn't possible here.
How large are the riding groups?
Groups are capped at 10 riders, on both the 13-day North Luzon tour and the Negros, Siquijor and Bohol enduro tour. That keeps the guiding personal, even through the tougher off-road stages.

How does booking and the deposit work?
After your request you'll receive a personal offer including the mandatory travel security certificate under German law (BGB paragraph 651r). Your booking becomes binding once you confirm it, and you'll then receive your tour folder, packing list and all further trip details.
What extra costs should I plan for?
Flights to the Philippines and between islands, travel health insurance that covers motorcycling, and meals outside those listed in your tour's program are not part of the base price. Personal spending such as drinks or souvenirs comes on top.
When is the best time to ride the Philippines?
From December to April the dry season gives Luzon, Negros, Bohol and Siquijor their firmest trails and most reliable inter-island ferries. Our departure dates for both tours fall within this window.
