We are going to the park headquarters early. After a short introduction, your tour today will either be to the rare Golden Monkeys (Diademed Monkeys) or on narrow paths uphill into the world of Dian Fossey. It is not unlikely that you will encounter a gorilla along the way. Keep in mind that for the Dian Fossey Trail you will ascend to an altitude of over 2,800 m. Both tours have a trekking character!

Bwindi National Park - Gorilla Tour

Early rising and trip to the headquarters. There will be another introduction with rules of conduct regarding the gorillas. Depending on the gorilla family, the search can become very exhausting and lengthy as we move in a tropical climate and sometimes go cross-country. Please clarify with us before the trip which gorilla group is suitable for you! The encounter with the gorillas will remain an unforgettable experience despite all the hardships. Lunch as a picnic. Depending on the duration of the gorilla tour, you may still visit a Batwa/Pygmy village or the center for cultural dances in the afternoon. Mainly children will show you the expressiveness of African dance here.
