Rwanda & Uganda - Safari, Gorillas & Small Group Tour

After breakfast, your adventure journey really begins. The trip, lasting about 6 hours, takes you to Kibale Forest National Park. The Kibale Forest National Park covers an area of 795 square kilometers and is one of the most significant protected areas in Uganda. Depending on the time of arrival, a tour of the Bigodi Swamps may still be possible. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, a game drive through the park begins, where numerous wild animals can be observed; with a bit of luck, lions can also be seen. After a hearty lunch in the lodge, in the afternoon, we go by boat on a river safari along the Kazinga Channel, where water birds, bathing elephants, hippos, and buffalo can be observed. Queen Elizabeth National Park, with an area of almost 2,000 square kilometers, is one of the largest national parks in Uganda. It offers a scenic and species-rich diversity and is considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early in the morning, we head to the headquarters where an orientation on the rules of conduct during the stay with the gorilla family takes place. The search for gorilla groups can be long and exhausting, but despite all the hardships, the encounter with the gorillas is a unique and unforgettable experience. Depending on the duration of the gorilla tour, the center for cultural dances may also be visited in the afternoon, where primarily orphaned children showcase the expressiveness and fascination of African dance.
