The Journey

Advanced training for ambitious off-road riders

To take part you need a valid driving licence and complete off-road protective gear: arm, shoulder and back armour, gloves, a full-face helmet and enduro boots. Well equipped, you will get the most out of both training days.

If you want to head off on a trip after the training: you can find all our motorcycle tours in Europe with riding levels at a glance.

Germany

The 2-day enduro trial training takes place on the grounds of the Enduro Center Mammutpark in Stadtoldendorf, Germany. Over two days you refresh your basic off-road techniques and make a focused start in trials riding, guided by experienced instructors in a small group.

Stadtoldendorf, refining enduro technique

The first day of your enduro trial advanced training begins with a thorough refresher of basic off-road riding techniques. After a check of your gear you head out onto the terrain: you work on body position, where to look, throttle response and controlled braking. In targeted exercises you deepen your control on climbs, descents and tight bends. The instructors give you direct feedback in the small group, so that by the afternoon you are riding noticeably more confidently over the terrain.

The second day focuses on getting started in trials riding. On the trials bike you learn to keep your balance precisely at low speed, use the clutch cleanly and apply the throttle with a delicate touch. Over steps, roots and small obstacles you train your feel for traction and balance. This enduro trial riding technique course brings both worlds together: to finish, you transfer the precision you have gained back to your adventure bike and ride technically demanding terrain with more control.

Trip includes

  • Advanced training for riders who have completed Level 1 and 2, have mastered 70 to 80 percent of basic off-road techniques and now want to get into trials riding
  • Lunch on both days, each including a soft drink
  • Fruit, cereal bars and water all day, plus coffee from midday
  • Crash parts and fuel for the rental motorcycle
  • On-site workshop service
  • Can I take part in the training with my own motorcycle?
Yes, many participants ride their own motorcycle. It must be road legal and suitable for off-road use; 2-strokes are not permitted. Good standard enduro tyres are sufficient; ideal are 50:50 tyres such as the Dunlop Trailmax Raid or similar. Your motorcycle must be in perfect technical condition. If in doubt, get in touch and we will be happy to advise you.
  • Do you offer cancellation insurance yourselves, or can you recommend a provider?
We do not offer cancellation insurance ourselves. However, comparison websites such as Check24 let you find a suitable policy in just a few clicks.
  • Am I liable for damage to my rental motorcycle?
Damage above €1,000.00 caused by the renter is borne by the renter and will be invoiced. Damage up to €1,000.00 is covered by the rental company. Damage to the motorcycle or to people caused by gross negligence or intent on the part of the renter is borne entirely by the renter.
  • Does my training go ahead in bad weather?
As a rule, our courses take place in all weather. However, we reserve the right to cancel a course in extreme weather conditions. In that case we will find a suitable alternative date together with you.
  • Where is the meeting point and when should I be there?
The meeting point and registration for all courses is the former barracks close to the training ground: ENDURO CENTER MAMMUTPARK, Yorck-Straße 5, 37603 Stadtoldendorf, Germany. We meet there at 8:30 at the latest; training starts promptly at 9:00 and ends at around 16:00 to 16:30.
  • What equipment and protective clothing do I need?
You need full motorcycle protective clothing: a riding suit with armour, helmet, gloves and sturdy motorcycle boots. They are very important for your safety; ordinary boots are generally not enough. Participation is not possible with boots that are not sturdy enough. You can also borrow motorcycle boots in all sizes from us; numbers are limited, so it is best to let us know before the training.
  • How are meals handled during the training, and are they included?
Lunch including a soft drink is included in the price for each training day. Fruit, cereal bars and water are available all day in between, with coffee in the afternoon as well.
