Here, past and present meet - impressive socialist architecture, hidden old town alleys, hip bars, and vibrant street culture. Right at the beginning, we visit the gigantic Palace of the Parliament, the second-largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon and a symbol of Romanian history. Take the time for a stroll through the charming old town district of Lipscani, enjoy a typical Romanian craft wine or Pálinka in a stylish wine bar, or just let yourself be carried away by the colorful city life. The cafés, street art, and laid-back nightlife make Bucharest a real surprise. You will spend the night at the Parliament Hotel - one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, overlooking the monumental government district and just a few steps away from the hotspots.
