Travel day 1: Welcome to Madagascar! Tonga Soa!
Upon your arrival in Antananarivo at Ivato International Airport (TNR), you will be welcomed by our team and taken to your hotel.
Travel Day 2: Flight to the north of Madagascar
Transfer to Ivato Airport and flight to Diego Suarez where you will be welcomed and taken to the hotel. Here you can stroll through the capital of the north for the rest of the day, where, unlike other Malagasy cities, there are many architectural testimonies of the French colonial era to discover.
Travel Day 3: Visit to the Emerald Lake
In the morning, you leave the hotel for a full-day excursion and first take a car to Ramena Beach. From there, you cross the bay in a fishing boat and, after passing the red cliffs, reach the azure shining Mer d'Emeraude where you land on a deserted island. On the way back, we make a stop where the coral world is the most beautiful. After that, it's back to the hotel by car.
Travel day 4: Rainforest in the 'Montagne d'Ambre' National Park
After breakfast, we will head to the Montagne d'Ambre National Park today, which is one of the last primary forests of Madagascar. In less than an hour, we will find ourselves in the fresh green of the Montagne d'Ambre rainforest, where there are also lemurs and chameleons to be seen, in addition to a waterfall.
Travel Day 5: Trip to the Tsingys
In the morning you leave the national park and drive directly to the 'Tsingy Rouge', a sea of fire-red glowing rocks, a true wonder of erosion. We descend into the canyon and immerse ourselves in the labyrinth of towers.
Travel Day 6: Hike through the Tsingys
After the impressive red Tsingys, you will experience another spectacular landscape that cannot be seen anywhere else on Earth outside of Madagascar. The coral reef that was formed here 200 million years ago was lifted out of the sea and weathered under the influence of rain and wind until eventually a landscape of pointed limestone needles up to 50 m high emerged.

Travel Day 7: Drive through cocoa plantations
In the early morning, you continue to Ankify and pass by the town of Ambanja, where you can discover the whole variety of the Sambirano region and its huge cocoa plantations, rice fields, and small villages. From the small traditional fishing village of Ankify, you then travel in a private boat to Nosy Be, which, with its surrounding islands, is a true paradise.
Travel Day 8 - 9: Relaxation by the Sea
The next 2 days are at your disposal, so you can relax on the beautiful sandy beaches or take excursions to the surrounding islands. The inland of the island also has a lot to offer, such as the Lokobe nature reserve. There are many excursions to choose from, and also optimal conditions for diving and snorkeling.
Travel Day 10: Return Flight to Antananarivo
From the airport of Nosy Be, you will fly back to Antananarivo, where you will be welcomed and taken to the hotel.
Travel Day 11: Visit to the Blue Hill
This morning we will visit Ambohimanga, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you will learn about the history of Madagascar. Last souvenirs can be purchased at the craft market.
Travel day 12: Departure and return flight to Europe
Depending on your departure time, you will be taken to the airport today and fly fully packed with great memories towards home.
