Your luxury train journey from Pretoria to Victoria Falls begins in the morning at the private Rovos Rail station in Pretoria. As soon as the train rolls in, lunch is served in the dining car while the scenery of the hot mineral springs of Bela-Bela and Nylstroom passes by. The Voortrekkers once called them the sources of the Nile. During dinner, the train crosses the Limpopo and reaches Beitbridge at the border with Zimbabwe – that greasy-green river from Rudyard Kipling's stories.
