The Journey
Far in the south of the deep blue Adriatic, nestled in the dramatic mountain landscape of the Balkans, lies Montenegro. This small country is rich in adventurous experiences - with wild rivers, deep canyons, crystal-clear mountain lakes, endless forests, and dreamlike beaches. Almost 80% of the country consists of unspoiled nature: forests, meadows, and Alpine plateaus as far as the eye can see. Montenegro is home to true natural wonders: the largest lake in the Balkans, the southernmost fjord in Europe, the Tara Canyon - the deepest gorge in Europe and the second deepest in the world, as well as one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe in the Biogradska Gora National Park. Our snowmobile adventures take you right into the heart of adventure - to the fascinating region of Sinjajevina, known for its vast high plateaus and some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in Montenegro. In summer, the largest grazing area in the Balkans, Sinjajevina transforms in winter into a snowy wilderness with breathtaking panoramas. Around the area, you will find traditional places like Kolašin, Mojkovac, Žabljak, Šavnik, Nikšić, and Danilovgrad. In between, you can find numerous Katuns - quaint alpine villages that lie deep in snow and deserted in the silence of the mountains during winter. A true experience for adventurers, photographers, and nature lovers! On our winter adventures through the Balkans, we have the opportunity to see these Katuns in Montenegro, or at least what is still recognizable beneath the thick layer of snow.
