Imagine a 250 km long horizon view - not so easy, right? Well, on today's off-road day you will experience it. Along the way, we will meet friendly, authentic Karamojong in their typical clothing and headgear. The roads today can be quite challenging and include everything from rocky slopes to long straight gravel roads. Accommodation: Kara-Tunga Safari Camp, dormitory

Those few who make the long journey north through the wild border region of Karamoja will be rewarded, as Kidepo is considered one of Africa's most beautiful wildernesses. From Apoka, located in the heart of the park, a savanna landscape stretches towards the horizon, outlined by distant mountain ranges. We will sleep in a banda (small house) inside the park.
