Málaga - Arrival & Tour Discussion
You land in Málaga and meet your Enduro travel group as well as the 4x4 group, which will cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco together the following day. Málaga was an important gateway to the Arab world during the time of Moorish rule. In the evening, the tour briefing with the guide takes place – the start of your New Year's Eve motorcycle trip to Morocco. After that, it's early to bed.
Chefchaouen - Ferry across Gibraltar
At sunrise, you drive to Algeciras, from where the ferry to Morocco departs. After the customs procedures at the port, the group rolls to the Kasbah accommodation near Chefchaouen. The former defensive fortress is now known for its blue houses as the "blue city." In the evening, you explore the old town and enjoy dinner above the rooftops – an atmospheric start to this motorcycle trip through Morocco.

Fès - On- and Offroad Stage
After the first Moroccan coffee, you get on the motorcycle and ride - on- and off-road - towards the south. The destination is Fès, one of the oldest cities in North Africa. A short stop at the tanners in the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcases intricately crafted leather accessories. This off-road stage of the motorcycle journey ends in a winding alley of the old town.

Zagora - Gateway to the Desert
The oasis city of Zagora is the gateway to the desert. Just like the caravans of old, you pass through the city on a historic route and steer the enduro out into the dunes. Sand and Hamada tracks now become a challenge. Here begins the loop around the flat-topped mountain Jbel Wadi: rocky and sandy passages alternate until you reach the accommodation in the afternoon – pure enduro fascination in Morocco.
Day 7 & 8: Erg Chebbi - Offroad to the Dunes
From Zagora, the route leads back into unpaved terrain after just a few kilometers: the off-road track to Erg Chebbi, the second largest dune area in Morocco with dunes up to 150 meters high. Here, nomads and caravans once rested. Deep sand tracks, wide plains, and hard rocky passages test you and your motorcycle – a highlight for all who love enduro in Morocco.
Erg Chebbi - Round Trip & New Year's Eve
The day is at your disposal. If you haven't had enough yet, join us for an enduro round through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Alternatively, a dune hike to Bedouin sites or a visit to the oasis town of Merzouga are tempting. Relaxing at the accommodation is also possible – just the right moment to enjoy New Year's Eve in the desert.

Erg Chigaga - Foum Zguid & Lac Iriki
Early in the morning you pass the military base and drive towards the dried-up salt lake Lac Iriki. In this region characterized by stony deserts and oases, hard rocky trails and wide plains alternate. Small dune fields await you in Morocco's largest dune area Erg Chigaga. Near the dunes you will settle in for accommodation before continuing to the Berber village of Mhamid – pure desert life on this motorcycle journey.
Ouarzazate - New Trails & Film City
Today, we're heading to Ouarzazate on a new route, which was founded during the French colonial period. The city is known as the "Hollywood of the Desert" and a filming location for the Moroccan film industry. Depending on the arrival time, a visit to the film studios is possible, where classics like Gladiator, The Mummy, or Kingdom of Heaven were made – a cultural highlight of this New Year's motorcycle tour through Morocco.
Marrakesh - Aït-Ben-Haddou & Atlas
A final highlight: the fortified village of Aït-Ben-Haddou, UNESCO World Heritage Site and film set for over 20 Hollywood productions. After the visit, you drive over the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass through the High Atlas to the red city of Marrakech. Upon arriving at the hotel, you toast to the Enduro experience. The evening belongs to Jemaa el-Fnaa, the vibrant heart of the Medina.
Atlantic - Connection Stage North
You leave Marrakech in the early morning hours for the marathon stage heading north along the Atlantic. It is one of the less spectacular sections of this motorcycle trip through Morocco. Its advantage: At this time of year, it is warmest here, and there was plenty of time beforehand for the highlights of the enduro tour between the Atlas and the Sahara.
Málaga - Return trip by ferry
The last kilometers in Morocco are in the roadbook. After breakfast, you ride into winter – on small on- and off-road stages to Tangier for the ferry. In the late afternoon, the group leaves Morocco via the Strait of Gibraltar and reaches Málaga before sunset. Here ends a New Year’s Eve motorcycle trip in Morocco full of sand, culture, and freedom.
