Your Colombia Nature Tour 9 days begins at José María Córdova Airport in Medellín. Our driver will take you to Hotel Elcielo, where you will stay in a double room with breakfast included. Medellín, the City of Eternal Spring, sits in a green valley filled with modern cable cars and high-rises. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and get ready for the days ahead.
Medellín, Silletas & Flower Villages Tour
Your first full day of the Medellín Guatapé Tour starts with the Medellín Flower Villages Tour: you will travel to Santa Elena, visit a traditional flower farm and discover the Silletas culture. Afterwards, glide down into the valley by cable car, stop in Santo Domingo and explore the city on a tour of Plaza Botero with its rounded statues by artist Fernando Botero. Overnight at Hotel Elcielo with breakfast.
Guatapé, Piedra del Peñol Tour & Boat Trip
Today your premium Colombia Nature Tour takes on an active twist. On the Guatapé Piedra del Peñol Tour, you will climb more than 740 steps up the 200-metre-high monolith for sweeping views of green mountains and blue lakes. Afterwards, stroll through Guatapé's colourful streets and finish the day with a boat trip on the reservoir. Return to Medellín, overnight at Hotel Elcielo with breakfast.
Flight to Santa Marta, gateway to Tayrona NP
Now the coastal part of your Colombia Caribbean Adventure begins. A transfer takes you to Medellín Airport, from where you fly to Santa Marta (23 kg luggage included). At the foot of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the world's highest coastal mountain range, you will check in to Hotel Watapuy Experience Tayrona in a Deluxe Cabaña with breakfast. The afternoon is free for your first moments by the sea.
Tayrona National Park, beach hike
The highlight of your Colombia Caribbean Coast trip: the Tayrona beach hike. From the Cañaveral sector, you will follow about 14 km of shady jungle trails between giant granite boulders, past Arrecifes beach and the natural pool to Cabo San Juan del Guía. Here you can snorkel, swim in the Caribbean or simply relax on the sand. The hike takes around eight hours (Trek Level 1). Overnight at Hotel Watapuy with breakfast.

Cartagena, colonial city & old town tour
In the morning, a ground transfer takes you in about five hours from Tayrona National Park to Cartagena. Your Cartagena Colonial City tour starts with a walk through the UNESCO-listed old town: stroll along the 11 km city walls, past the Clock Tower, across Simón Bolívar and San Pedro Claver squares and into the lively Getsemaní district. Overnight at Hotel Bantú in a Superior Room with breakfast.
La Boquilla Mangrove Tour & journey to Barú
In the fishing village of La Boquilla, you will experience the La Boquilla Mangrove Tour: glide through narrow mangrove tunnels in a traditional canoe, spot native and migratory birds and learn about the delicate lagoon ecosystem. Afterwards, a transfer takes you in about 1.5 hours to Barú Island, where you will stay at Hotel Las Islas in a bungalow with whirlpool and breakfast.
Barú, free Caribbean beach day
Today is all about relaxing on Barú's Caribbean beach in Colombia. The day is yours to do as you please: stretch out on the white sand, swim in the turquoise water or unwind in your bungalow's whirlpool. If you wish, you can book optional water sports activities. Overnight at Hotel Las Islas in a bungalow room with whirlpool and breakfast included.
Barú, Cartagena & departure
To round off your Colombia Active Caribbean Coast Tour, a ground transfer takes you in about 1.5 hours from Barú back to Cartagena. The final price includes a donation of 5 USD per person to the Chaska social project, which funds a free music school for children in San Agustín. Afterwards, it's time to say farewell to Colombia, taking home plenty of new memories.
