As a self-driving 4x4 India, you will head out early the next morning to Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple, one of the most important Sikh shrines. Through Patnitop and Srinagar, with a free day at Dal Lake, this Himalayan off-road tour continues to Kargil and finally to Leh. There, the real off-road Himalayan adventure part of the journey begins over the highest drivable passes in the world.

Delhi – Arrival and Getting to Know Each Other

Your India Himalaya 4x4 journey begins with your arrival in Delhi. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel. In the evening, you will meet the group and get to know your fellow travelers over local cuisine, before the actual offroad stage starts the next day.

Early in the morning, you head towards Amritsar - the beginning of your Ladakh Offroad Journey. In Amritsar, you visit the Golden Temple, one of the most important shrines of the Sikh religion, adorned with 400 kg of gold and surrounded by a serene pond. In the evening, you have free time.

Chandigarh – Delhi Departure

On the last day of your India Himalaya 4x4 trip, you will travel from Chandigarh to Delhi, from where you will begin your journey home. With many impressions from passes, monasteries, and desert valleys, you say goodbye to this off-road expedition through North India.
