Early risers can start the day with a guided walk through the small mountain village of Basteri. We visit a local temple and hike to a viewpoint that offers a stunning panoramic view of the surroundings. In the afternoon, we make our way to Chitkul - the last village in India, known for its particularly clean air. A real breath of fresh air! Along the way, we enjoy a picnic in the middle of the valley - surrounded by pine trees and crystal clear water gently flowing past our feet. A quiet, humble moment in the heart of nature. We continue along rugged paths that are among the most impressive Himalayan routes - a true off-road experience! Apple orchards, traditional wooden houses, and the majestic panorama of the mountains make Chitkul one of the most beautiful stops on this Lahaul-Spiti journey. Tabo - Kaza via Dhankar Monastery (70 km)

The Tabo Monastery, also known as "Ajanta of the Himalayas," is a national cultural heritage site and houses Thangka paintings and relics from the 9th century - a sacred place with deep spiritual significance in Spiti. No less impressive is the Dhankar Monastery, which majestically sits on a rock - a sight you won't forget anytime soon. But it is the journey there that makes the destination even more worthwhile: bumpy, adventurous, and just right for everyone who loves an adrenaline rush. Our journey continues along wild Himalayan paths, taking us on this off-road trip through Lahaul and Spiti to hidden landscapes rarely seen - until we finally reach Kaza.

The charm of Spiti lies in its many "heights": from the highest post office in the world in Hikkim to the highest drivable road in Komic - this off-road journey through Lahaul Spiti lets you experience the raw beauty of this area up close. We also cross the famous Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest bridge at 4,036 m altitude. The Spiti Valley is made for postcard motifs - one of the highlights is the Key Monastery, the largest and oldest gompa in the valley and a training ground for young lamas. We will visit this iconic place to conclude the day. After an eventful day, a delicious dinner and great company await you to wind down.
