Days 1–8
Matala - Arrival and Island Reception
Good morning! Your guide will pick you up at Heraklion Airport. Together you will drive about an hour south to the coastal village of Matala, your base for the motorcycle tour of South Crete. You will check into your room, get to know the group, and explore the famous caves and the wide sandy beach on your first walk. The evening remains relaxed so that you are well-rested for the upcoming stages.
Matala - Motorcycle training and first curves
Before the start of your motorcycle adventure holiday in Crete, you practice safe handling of your machine in the practice area. Afterwards, you ride on quiet country roads around Matala, so you can get used to the handling. This way, you gain confidence before the more challenging mountain stages of the coming days begin.
Psiloritis - Mountains and Mountain Passes
Today your motorcycle holiday in South Crete takes you to the highest mountain of Crete. Narrow serpentine roads, steep ascents and wide views over valleys and mountain villages characterize this stage. Along the way, you take breaks at small taverns and sample regional specialties. In the afternoon, you roll back leisurely towards the coast.
Lassithi - Plateau with windmills
On the way to the Lassithi Plateau, you pass through villages, olive groves, and countless windmills. This stage of your motorcycle journey through South Crete is calmer than the day before and leaves plenty of room for photo stops and conversations with locals. You will ride comfortable street bikes that are well-suited for the winding roads of Crete.

Depending on the stage of your motorcycle tour in Southern Crete, you will be in the saddle for about 4 to 6 hours each day.

You need a valid international driving license that allows you to ride motorcycles in Greece - usually class A, A1 or A2, depending on the size of the motorcycle.

You will mainly stay in 3-star hotels, typically in a double room. Single rooms are available at an additional cost.
