Costa Rica Motorcycle Tours: Coast to Coast

Your costa rica motorcycle tours adventure begins with pickup at San Jose airport, or another point by arrangement, and transfer to our accommodation in Orotina, where you can prep your gear and bags before the ride.

An early 5:30am sunrise walk on the beach sets up the climb to Cerro de la Muerte, the highest motorcycle point in Costa Rica at 3,454 meters. Pack a warm jacket, it gets noticeably cooler up here. Overnight in the mountains of Quetzal National Park.

After breakfast we head toward the Caribbean on longer stages, picking up real highway feel on the Panamericana before swapping back to winding roads and a first taste of Jamaican-influenced Caribbean culture.

A longer ride from Puerto Viejo de Limon to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui crosses rainforest, rivers and some of the trip's most striking scenery.

A rest day built around the hanging bridges of La Fortuna, a different angle on the rainforest canopy. The rest of the day is free to spend as you like.

After breakfast we ride to the Nicoya Peninsula for two nights of beaches and sunsets, a slower stretch on this best costa rica tours itinerary.
