Brazil - that means endless expanses of the Amazon rainforest, dreamlike beaches, Rio de Janeiro, carnival, and samba. All of this is true, but Brazil is so much more, a gigantic country of superlatives. With an area of 8.5 million square kilometers, Brazil is almost as large as Europe and occupies half of the South American continent. On our adventure trip, you will explore a part of this fascinating country! The climate varies from the tropical warm north through various subtropical zones to the temperate south. Since the 16th century, when the Portuguese began to settle the land, Brazil has exerted a magical attraction on foreigners. In the past, gold, rubber, and coffee lured them; today, it is mainly the fiery rhythms and exotic flair that captivate visitors. The largest country in South America is a kaleidoscope of intoxicating impressions.

Your Brazil adventure tour begins in Rio de Janeiro. After your arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel. The city is nestled between mountains and the sea, with lush vegetation, deep blue ocean and wide beaches. On the first evening, you will get to know the relaxed lifestyle of the Cariocas and prepare for the days ahead.

On your Rio de Janeiro Corcovado tour, the cog train will take you through the Tijuca rainforest up to the Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado. Iguassu - Manaus on the Amazon

On your Manaus Amazon journey, you will fly today from Iguassu to Manaus, the capital of the state of Amazonas on the banks of the Rio Negro. The city experienced a boom in the 19th century due to the rubber trade and still carries a European flair today. Optionally, you can book another excursion in Iguassu in advance.

Manaus - Amazon Jungle Tour

Your Amazon jungle tour begins at the pier: by boat, you will head to the Amazon Ecopark Lodge, where you will spend three days and two nights. Through jungle trekking, a visit to the monkey jungle and a night canoe tour, you will experience the flora and fauna of the rainforest. The excursions will be arranged on-site with bilingual guides.

Amazon - Meeting of the Waters

During jungle trekking and a boat tour, you will reach the famous Meeting of the Waters today. Here, the yellow Rio Solimões and the almost black Rio Negro flow side by side for kilometres without immediately mixing. Back at the lodge, you can enjoy the tranquility of the rainforest.

Amazon - Manaus City Tour

In the morning, you will return from the Amazon rainforest lodge to Manaus. On a panoramic tour, you will explore old Manaus from the time of the rubber boom: São Sebastião Square, the historic customs house, the bell tower and the market. A photo stop will take you to the magnificent opera house of Manaus.

Manaus - Belo Horizonte

A highlight of your 15-day Brazil tour is the transition to the southeast: transfer to the airport and flight to Belo Horizonte. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel in the Savassi district. The evening is free for you to enjoy.

Belo Horizonte - Ouro Preto

Your Ouro Preto colonial town journey takes you via Mariana and Congonhas to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Ouro Preto.
