Days 1-12
Arrival in Chiang Mai
We will pick you up at Chiang Mai Airport and take you to our tour hotel in the heart of the city. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city, go shopping, or simply relax by the pool. We will have dinner at one of the riverside restaurants. Afterwards, we will visit the famous "night market".

Chiang Mai - Chiang Khong
After breakfast, you take over your motorcycle for the tour. Then we're off. Today we are heading north to Chiang Khong. On our route, there are hot springs where you can actually cook eggs. Just before Chiang Rai, we visit a sight, the white temple, built by a famous Thai artist. Upon arriving in Chiang Khong, we check into a hotel right on the Mekong River, where we can already take a look across the river at the Lao side.
Chiang Khong - Luang Namtha
From the hotel, we will now go directly to the border where, after completing the border formalities on the Thai side, we will cross the Mekong River on the Friendship Bridge. After we have received our visas for Laos on the Laotian side (about 2 hours in total), we can now enter Laos. Upon arriving in Laos, we will drive today through the mountains of northern Laos, passing numerous villages of ethnic minorities to Luang Namtha, a small town near the Chinese border, where we will spend our first evening and night in Laos in a simple resort with good Laotian cuisine.
Luang Namtha - Nong Khiaw
Today on the second day in Laos, we have a 230 km long road that takes us through countless villages, mountains, and viewpoints through northern Laos to Nong Kiaw. After arriving at a small resort right by the bank of the Nam Ou River, we can now enjoy the sunset in a dreamlike landscape with a drink.
Nong Khiaw - Luang Prabang
After a hearty breakfast, we will drive through fantastic valleys towards Luang Prabang (the old town of Luang Prabang was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995). In the early afternoon we will reach our comfortable guesthouse, which is located directly on the banks of the Nam Kan River. After dinner, there is the opportunity to visit the night market of Luang Prabang, which offers a wide range of handicrafts from Laos.
Luang Prabang Sightseeing
Today we have time to take laundry to the cleaners and do some shopping. Those who find half a day enough for relaxing have the opportunity to take a tour with our tour guide to one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. Back in Luang Prabang, there is still much more to see, such as the temple complex "Wat Phousi" or you can just relax in a café. We will enjoy the evening in one of the many restaurants on the banks of the Mekong.

Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng
After we have rested in Luang Prabang, we drive south, where we will cross the Nam Khan River by boat after about 20 km to visit a dreamy waterfall. Via very winding mountain roads that require our full attention, we now head to Vang Vieng, where we are rewarded in the early afternoon with a spectacular view of the mountain peaks. After another 100 km, we reach our small resort with a pool in Vang Veng.
Vang Vieng - Sayaboury
Today we will travel through fantastic landscapes, crossing the highest pass on this tour at over 1800 meters. After conquering the mountain, there will be lunch in a small Laotian restaurant. In the evening, we will relax in a charming guesthouse in Sayaboury.
Sayaboury - Pua
On very narrow and winding mountain roads, with a very exotic jungle landscape, along several villages, we are headed back towards Thailand today. At noon, we will re-enter Thailand at the Huay Khon border crossing. In the evening, we will reach Pua, where we can enjoy the wonderful view of their resort.
Pua - Phayao
Today we have another fantastic motorcycle ride day. A very well-developed winding road (Top 10 of the most beautiful motorcycle roads in the world) through a fantastic mountainous landscape with little traffic makes the heart race. In the early evening, we reach the city of Phayao, located by a beautiful lake. If you like fish, then this is the place for you. Many restaurants sell fresh fish in various variations, but of course, there are also other delicacies of Thai cuisine.
Phayao - Chiang Mai
On our motorcycle tour today, after a few kilometers, there is a beautiful waterfall where we will make a stop before taking the winding roads back to Chiang Mai. We will reach Chiang Mai in the early afternoon. There will still be time to relax in the hotel or enjoy a relaxing massage. In the evening, we will conclude our eventful motorcycle tour with a shared meal.
Chiang Mai and Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Anyone who wants can also add a beach extension to the motorcycle trips.
