The off-road sections build up gradually, so the trip works as an entry-level enduro adventure: you don't need racing experience, just steady seat time and a willingness to ride loose gravel and mud at a relaxed pace. Wildlife stops like the gorilla trek near Ruhija and the game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park break up the riding days, keeping the pace comfortable even on the technical border pistes.
You can bring your own machine if it meets our bike specifications, or rent a prepared adventure or enduro bike locally that suits the terrain. A support vehicle with a local driver and mechanic follows the group the whole way, carrying luggage and handling technical support, so you ride light and are never far from help if something breaks.
Each riding day opens with a briefing on the route and the GPS track, then it's hours in the saddle on winding roads, lakeside stretches around Lake Kivu or border pistes toward Uganda and Burundi, broken up by the wildlife drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and the gorilla trek near Ruhija. Overnight stops rotate between lodges and guesthouses in Kigali, on Lake Kivu and close to the national parks, always with your guide and the support vehicle nearby.

What is included in the price?
The price of the Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi motorcycle safari covers all airport transfers, most overnight stays and breakfasts, the motorcycle rental, a support vehicle with local driver and mechanic, a multilingual guide riding with you, and liability insurance for the bike. International flights, taxes and fuel surcharges, optional gorilla and chimpanzee tracking permits, other meals, personal expenses, motorcycle fuel and travel insurance are not included.
How many riders are in the group?
The group runs from 6 to 10 riders, with a support vehicle and multilingual guide accompanying you the whole way. That keeps the group small enough for personal attention on the technical sections near the Uganda and Burundi borders.
Do I need my own motorcycle, or can I rent one?
Both options work. Bring your own machine if it's suited to this kind of terrain, or rent a prepared motorcycle through us for the trip. The rental bike, along with a support vehicle and mechanic, is included in the tour price; just let us know which option you prefer when you book.
What is the riding level required for this trip?

How does booking and payment work?
After you send an enquiry, we put together a personal offer for the Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi safari with the next available dates and pricing. Your booking becomes binding once you confirm and pay the deposit; after that you'll receive the tour dossier, packing list and all further travel details.
When can I book the next departure?
The next departure runs from 12 September to 3 October 2026, at a price of €4299 per rider. Later dates are priced from €4429; get in touch for the full calendar of upcoming departures.
