Motorcycle trip through Patagonia

You will be picked up at the airport in Ushuaia and taken to the hotel from where the tour will start the next day. After a brief introduction to the motorcycle trip and information about Salta, the rest of the day is at your disposal.

From the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, we first go with spectacular views over the Garibaldi Pass, then along Lake Fagnano further into the undulating expanses of Tierra del Fuego. After entering Chile, we continue to the small town of Cerro Sombrero. About 420 km.

We continue on gravel roads to the ferry, with which we cross over the Magellan Strait to the Patagonian mainland. Further through the wild steppes of Patagonia, we go to Rio Gallegos, the Atlantic capital of Santa Cruz, and then on to El Calafate. About 460 km.

In the morning, we visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. In the afternoon, we first go around the emerald green Lake Lago Argentino. Following the river La Leona, we reach Lake Lago Viedma and the small village of El Chalten, which crouches under the infamous granite towers Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. About 360 km.

Early in the morning, a hike to the viewpoint of Fitz Roy can be made. This offers breathtaking views of the southern Patagonian mountain world. Then we return to Ruta 40, where we head south to reach the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. After this adventurous day, we will spend the night at an authentic Chilean estancia, where we will spend a cozy evening together and share our collected impressions. About 450 km, of which 60 km are gravel roads.

We approach one of the most famous national parks in Chile, Torres del Paine, with spectacular views. In the park, we will see thundering waterfalls, deep blue mountain lakes, condors, wild llamas, ostriches, and foxes. Furthermore, we will also be able to marvel at the breathtaking, rugged peaks of the Torres del Paine (''Towers of the Blue Sky'') and the Cuernos massif. In the afternoon, we continue to the town of Puerto Natales. About 250 km, of which 200 km are gravel roads.

Heading south, we continue on windy roads to Punta Arenas. We pass a lagoon with flamingos and visit the Otway penguin colony. About 300 km, of which 50 km are gravel roads.

With the ferry, we cross over the Magellan Strait to the island of Tierra del Fuego and continue on gravel roads to the Argentine border. After a short drive, we reach Rio Grande. Then we continue via Tolhuin, Lake Fagnano, and over the Garribaldi Pass back to the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia. In the evening, we enjoy our well-deserved farewell dinner. With many unique, lasting impressions and memories in our luggage, you will start your journey home from the airport. But we will not say goodbye without giving you a small farewell gift on your way.
