Nepal Motorcycle Trip - Magical Mountain Tour
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the starting point of our exciting 13-day guided motorcycle journey through Nepal, we check into the hotel. The accommodation is located in Thamel, the busy part of the city, close to the lively markets and the well-preserved old town of Kathmandu. A cultural walk in the afternoon leads to Durbar Square, an architectural gem and UNESCO World Heritage Site. During a group dinner, there will be a first tour discussion.

Days 1–12
Kathmandu
After arriving in Kathmandu, the starting point of our exciting 13-day guided motorcycle journey through Nepal, we check into the hotel. The accommodation is located in Thamel, the bustling part of the city, near the lively markets and well-preserved old town of Kathmandu. An afternoon cultural walk leads to Durbar Square (Palace Square), an architectural gem and UNESCO World Heritage site. During the joint dinner, there will be the first tour briefing.
Kathmandu - Kurintar, 110 km.
First, we take the bus 110 kilometers west of Kathmandu to escape the busy city traffic. After a relaxing lunch by the Trishuli River, we familiarize ourselves with our Enfield Bullet motorcycles and enjoy a quiet day to immerse ourselves in this new world.
Kurintar - Gorkha - Bandipur, 90 km
Our exploration of the Nepalese terrain begins in the small town of Gorkha, known for its charming palace. On varied roads, we finally reach the beautifully restored village of Bandipur with its breathtaking view of the Himalayas.
Bandipur - Pokhara, 95 km
Today we set off for Pokhara, a charming town by Phewa Lake. We briefly follow the Prithvi Highway before turning onto smaller roads that lead us through the foothills of the Himalayas. The drive is marked by picturesque beauty, past rice terraces, traditional villages, and lush forests, with an increasingly impressive view of the majestic Annapurna mountain range.

Pokhara - Tansen, 125 km
Our guided motorcycle journey continues south through the winding roads of the Mahabharat mountain range. Along the way, we stop in the less touristy town of Tansen, which delights us with its view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.

Tansen - Terai Plains, 175 km
Today we get to know rural Nepal. On the Siddharta Highway, we ride through the mountains, always with the vast panorama of the Himalayas in front of us, past the typical rice terraces to the traditional village of Tansen.

Chitwan National Park
A day of relaxation in Chitwan National Park, where we explore the wildlife on a safari and can observe the Asian crocodiles in their natural habitat on a boat ride or we can watch for tigers, rhinos, crocodiles, and monkeys from the back of an elephant.

Chitwan - Sindhuli, 220 km
After yesterday's motorcycle-free day, the longest stage of our guided motorcycle tour takes us to Sindhuli via quiet roads and untouched landscapes.

Sindhuli - Janakpur, 90 km
Today we head south on the roads built by the Japanese to Janakpur, known for the Janaki Temple and its cultural significance as the birthplace of the Hindu goddess Sita.
Janakpur - Charikot, 185 km
A long motorcycle day takes us back into the mountains, past terraced fields and lush nature, with an overnight stay in Charikot, known for its breathtaking natural beauty. Along beautifully terraced fields, the border to Tibet comes closer. In the village of Charikot (2000 meters above sea level), we set up our night quarters.

Charikot - Bhaktapur, 114 km
Our varied guided motorcycle journey ends in Bhaktapur, famous for its well-preserved old town and craftsmanship.

After the height and endpoint of the adventurous journey to Nepal, we shop for a few souvenirs for those who stayed at home, take off in Kathmandu, and fly back home. Until next time? Definitely! With many memories and new friendships, you can either fly home or extend your guided motorcycle tour in the region, for example in Nagarkot or Nuwakot for further mountain views or in one of the urban centers like Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, or Lalitpur.
