An exciting journey on two wheels through Patagonia! On an 8-day adventure tour, we travel by motorcycle through Argentina and Chile.
The Journey
9-day motorcycle trip through Argentina and Chile. Enjoy the ride on two wheels through Patagonia: The extreme south, the breathtaking nature with grand mountain worlds, wild steppes, lakes, and rivers. In addition to the impressive nature, the fun of riding the motorcycle is never lacking on the great roads and gravel paths. The starting and ending point of the journey is the city of Ushuaia, which is located at the southern tip of South America, the so-called "end of the world." Who can claim to have been there?
You will be picked up at the airport in Ushuaia and taken to the hotel from which the tour will start the next day. After a short introduction to the motorcycle trip and information about Salta, the rest of the day is at your leisure.
From the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia, we first travel with spectacular views over the Garibaldi Pass, then along Lake Fagnano, continuing into the gently rolling expanses of Tierra del Fuego. After entering Chile, we continue to the small town of Cerro Sombrero. About 420 km.
We continue on gravel roads to the ferry with which we cross the Magellan Strait to the Patagonian mainland. Further through the wild steppes of Patagonia, we head to Rio Gallegos, the Atlantic capital of Santa Cruz, and continue on to El Calafate. About 460 km.
In the morning we visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. In the afternoon we first head to the emerald green Lago Argentino lake. Following the La Leona river, we reach the Lago Viedma lake and the small village of El Chalten, which crouches under the notorious granite towers of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. About 360 km.
