For entry into Serbia, citizens of many countries do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. However, make sure you have a valid passport. Find out online about the specific requirements for your country if a visa is required. Visas can usually be applied for before arrival, but entry via visa-on-arrival is not possible.

The local currency in Serbia is the dinar (RSD). Cash payments are common, while credit cards are accepted in large stores and restaurants. It is advisable to always have some cash on hand, as not all small shops accept cards. ATMs are widely available, but only use bank ATMs to avoid unnecessary fees.

To drive in Serbia, you need a valid driver's license from your home country or, if your driver's license is not in Latin script, an international driving permit. To buy local SIM cards, visit mobile providers like Telekom Serbia or Telenor. Most major stores and shopping centers also offer SIM cards. Make sure your phone is unlocked before using the SIM card. Prepaid plans are cost-effective and easy to activate, which is especially convenient for tourists.
