The best airport for international flights is the Paro International Airport. It offers connections to several Asian cities and provides breathtaking views during the landing approach. The local currency in Bhutan is the Ngultrum (Nu), and Indian Rupees are also accepted. Credit cards are accepted in urban areas, but for rural regions you should bring cash.
