FAQS

  • Basic off-road experience with a 4x4 vehicle is recommended, but not a must. Our experienced guides will provide you with a thorough briefing on off-road techniques on-site. The tour is designed to be suitable for both experienced off-road drivers and ambitious beginners.

  • Yes! You can experience the entire expedition as a passenger in one of our fully equipped 4x4 vehicles. Here you will ride along with our experienced drivers and can fully concentrate on the journey, the landscape, and the stories.

  • We stay in a combination of comfortable hotels (3-4*) and authentic accommodations in the mountains, as well as at selected camping sites. We spend several nights wild camping in spectacular locations, such as by Synewyr Lake or on the Swydowez Ridge – equipped with our expedition gear.

  • Breakfast and dinner are included in the tour price. Breakfast is served at the hotels. On camping days, we prepare dinner together as a team – with the motto: The more hands, the faster the food. Cooking together by the campfire is part of the experience and strengthens team spirit. Our guides organize everything and show how to prepare typical Ukrainian dishes. Lunch is provided as a picnic or in local restaurants.

  • For participation in the 4x4 off-road tour, you need an all-terrain vehicle with low-range gearing. Ideal options are Land Rover Defender 130 CC or Toyota Hilux pickup, which you can rent from us. Personal vehicles are also possible – modifications are not strictly necessary. You will receive an overview from us with sensible recommendations for vehicle equipment. All-terrain tires are sufficient; mud-terrain tires are optional, but not a must.
