We will personally greet you at Heraklion Airport and start the journey together to our charming accommodation in Matala, a coastal village with history. During the drive, we enjoy the stunning views of the Cretan landscape and the fascinating coastal roads. Upon arrival, when everyone is relaxed and ready, we dive into the Cretan lifestyle. The first evening is all about Greek hospitality: in a traditional tavern, we wind down the day with delicious local specialties and a glass of Greek wine or Rakí. The scent of fresh olive oil and grilled meat in the air, the gentle sea breeze, and the soothing sound of the waves create the perfect atmosphere to celebrate the start of our unforgettable journey. This evening is the perfect prelude to a unique adventure, where you will not only experience the beauty of Crete but also get to know the culture and warm charm of the island. Our exciting tours start daily between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. After picking up the rugged 4x4 off-road vehicles and a brief introduction to off-road techniques, we prepare for the first big adventure. With adrenaline pumping through our veins, we set off southward, passing picturesque mountain landscapes and through enchanted valleys just waiting to be discovered. Our journey takes us to the imposing Meteora monastery, which towers high above the coast, captivating us with its history and unique view. The route primarily follows narrow, dusty gravel paths winding through the Cretan wilderness. As we drive through this pristine nature, we are accompanied by breathtaking panoramas of the coast, constantly reflected in views of the deep blue sea and rugged rocks. Along the way, small hidden coves tempt us to swim in the crystal-clear water - a true insider tip for those wanting to escape the tourist crowds. Here, you can enjoy paradise in absolute tranquility and let yourself be enchanted by the rugged beauty of Crete.

Beautiful coastal sections lead from Matala to the southeast of Crete. A dreamlike coastal panorama awaits you, and we also have the opportunity to cool off and rest in a secluded cove during the midday heat. In one of the cozy Kafenias (traditional Greek café), we can enjoy the unmistakable atmosphere with a typical mountain tea. In the evening, we return to Matala. Today it’s through beautiful coastal sections that wind picturesque along the azure blue sea. The drive will repeatedly enchant you with breathtaking views of the rugged coastal landscapes and the deep blue sea. Along the way, we have the opportunity to pause in a remote, solitary cove - here you can dive into the crystal-clear waters, cool off, and completely unwind in the midst of untouched nature. The tranquility and beauty of these hidden places make them a secret tip for anyone who truly wants to experience Crete. In one of the traditional Kafenias, the cozy Greek coffeehouse, we stop in to enjoy the day with a freshly prepared mountain tea. Surrounded by the unmistakable atmosphere of a Cretan village, we let time pass at a relaxed pace - the perfect place to let your soul dangle and experience the unique hospitality of the locals. In the evening, we return to Matala, where the day concludes in a relaxed circle with a cool drink and we reflect on the experiences of the trip.

Today our journey takes us through the charming mountain villages of Crete, where time seems to stand still. We delve deep into the authentic Cretan life, far from the hustle and bustle, and let the tranquil atmosphere of the remote villages enchant us. Along the way, we stop at the typical, rustic kafenions - the traditional taverns that radiate the heart of Cretan hospitality. Here, we will not only experience the indescribable hospitality of the locals but also enjoy the famous mountain tea, known for its calming and healing properties. The simple yet warm kafenions provide the perfect place to relax, enjoy the moment, and immerse ourselves in Cretan culture. The mountain landscape surrounding us offers unforgettable views, ranging from green hills and rugged rocks to spectacular valleys. The scent of fresh wild herbs and the song of the cicadas accompany us on this special leg of our journey.

Today our journey takes us along the south coast of Crete, where breathtaking views and charming villages await us. On the unpaved gravel roads, we drive through fishing villages that have preserved their authentic charm and experience true life away from the tourist crowds. Our route eventually brings us to the enchanting terrace town of Agia Galini, which captivates with its white houses and view of the deep blue sea. At lunchtime, we stop in the harbor village of Malia at the legendary Mama Eva's tavern, known for its warm hospitality and delicious Cretan cuisine. Here we enjoy traditionally prepared dishes made with fresh, local ingredients sourced directly from the surrounding area. The atmosphere is as warm and inviting as the food itself. After lunch, we continue to another beautiful bay that remains undiscovered by most tourists. Here we can swim in crystal-clear water, relax, and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of this hidden oasis.

We are once again mostly rolling over gravel through the spectacular Messara Plain. Along the way, we pass charming villages where the unmistakable Greek coffee is served - just the thing to recharge energy for the challenging, winding route that takes us steeply down from Messara to the coast. The wind blows through the landscape as we enjoy the views of the turquoise sea and unspoiled nature. Pure adventure, where each curve holds a new highlight!

This day is all about freedom! You can spend your time as you please - whether shopping in the lively streets, enjoying traditional delicacies in cozy taverns, or having a few refreshing beers with the friendly locals.
