On two wheels through the extreme south: This motorcycle trip through South Patagonia starts and ends in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. In 8 days you will ride through Tierra del Fuego, cross the Strait of Magellan, and explore the wild landscapes of Patagonia between Chile and Argentina. Grand mountain worlds, glaciers, lakes, and the Torres del Paine National Park accompany you. On good roads as well as on gravel roads, the riding pleasure is never lacking.

Ushuaia, Arrival at the End of the World
At the airport in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, you will be picked up and taken to the hotel where your motorcycle trip through South Patagonia will start the next morning. After a brief introduction to the tour and the motorcycles, you have the rest of the day at your disposal to arrive at the end of the world and get into the mood for the adventure.
Ushuaia to Cerro Sombrero via Tierra del Fuego
From Ushuaia, you roll with wide views over the Garibaldi Pass and along Lake Fagnano into the undulating expanses of Tierra del Fuego. After entering Chile, the motorcycle journey through Tierra del Fuego takes you to the small town of Cerro Sombrero. About 420 kilometers of asphalt and the first gravel roads lie ahead of you on this travel day.
Cerro Sombrero to El Calafate
On gravel roads, you reach the ferry that takes you across the Strait of Magellan to the Patagonian mainland. Through the wild steppes of Patagonia, you continue to Rio Gallegos, the Atlantic coastal capital of Santa Cruz, and from there to El Calafate. This leg of the motorcycle trip through South Patagonia measures about 460 kilometers.
Perito Moreno and El Chaltén
In the morning, you will visit the famous Perito Moreno Glacier with its massive ice wall. In the afternoon, you'll go around the emerald green Lago Argentino and along the La Leona River to Lago Viedma. Your destination is the small village of El Chaltén, located under the granite towers of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. About 360 kilometers are on the agenda for this stage.

Fitz Roy, via Route 40 to Chile
Early in the morning, you can hike to a viewpoint at Fitz Roy and enjoy the view of the southern Patagonian mountains. Afterwards, the Ruta 40 takes you south to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. After this exciting day, you'll spend the night at a real Chilean estancia and wind down the evening together. About 450 kilometers, of which 60 kilometers are gravel.
Torres del Paine National Park
As you approach one of the most famous national parks in Chile: Torres del Paine, you will encounter roaring waterfalls, deep blue mountain lakes, as well as condors, guanacos, nandus, and foxes. The rugged peaks characterize the motorcycle trip through Torres del Paine, as does the Cuernos massif. In the afternoon, you will continue to Puerto Natales. About 250 kilometers, of which 200 kilometers are gravel.
Punta Arenas and Otway Penguins
On a windy road, you head south to Punta Arenas. Along the way, you pass a lagoon with flamingos and visit the penguin colony at Otway. This stage of the motorcycle trip through Southern Patagonia takes you about 300 kilometers, of which about 50 kilometers are on dirt roads, through the wind-swept landscapes of southern Chile.
back to Ushuaia via Tierra del Fuego
Take the ferry across the Magellan Strait back to the island of Tierra del Fuego and drive on gravel roads to the Argentine border. After a short drive, you will reach Rio Grande, then continue through Tolhuin, Lake Fagnano, and the Garibaldi Pass back to Ushuaia. In the evening, enjoy the well-deserved farewell dinner before your motorcycle journey through South Patagonia at the end of the world comes to a close. About 450 kilometers.
