Days 1–11
Travel day 1: Welcome to Antananarivo! Tonga Soa!
Nach der Ankunft am International Airport Ivato (TNR) werden Sie zum Hotel gebracht wo Sie dann auch die Nacht verbringen.
Travel Day 2: Antananarivo - Andasibe - Discovery of Reptiles
Gleich nach dem Frühstück fahren Sie nach Andasibe in Richtung Osten Madagaskars. Wir machen einen Zwischenstop bei einer exotischen Reptilienfarm bevor wir unsere Reise nach Andasibe fortsetzen. Hier im Reservat von Analamazaotra, ist Indri der größte Lemur der Welt beheimatet. In der Abenddämmerung unternehmen wir einen Spaziergang und beobachten die nachtaktiven Tiere.
Travel Day 3: Indri, the Star of the Day
An diesem Tag werden Sie verschiedene Arten von Lemuren und viele andere Tiere im Reservat von Analamazaotra entdecken, wobei der Indri der eindeutige Star des Tages sein wird. Die Wege sind ohne Anstrengung zu bewältigen und auf der Lemureninsel, die wir noch am Nachmittag besichtigen wollen haben Sie die Möglichkeit die Lemuren ganz bequem aus der Nähe zu betrachten.
Travel Day 4: Andasibe - Akanin'ny nofy & Ride on the Pangalanes Canal
Heute fahren wir nach dem Frühstück auf die Nationalstraße Nr. 2 bis zum Seeufer von Manambato von wo aus der Transfer mit dem Boot nach Ankanin'ny Nofy erfolgt. Während der Fahrt auf dem Kanal genießen wir die Aussicht auf die artenreiche Flora und Fauna und freuen uns schon auf die Pirogenfahrt in der Abenddämmerung bei der wir hoffentlich die nachaktiven Aye Ayes entdecken.
Travel Day 5: Hike in the Palmarium Park
Am heutigen Vormittag besichtigen wir das Privatreservat ''le Palmarium'', in dem es eine Vielfalt an endemischen Pflanzen und Tieren zu bestaunen gibt. Anschließend statten wir noch den umliegenden Dörfern einen kleinen Besuch ab und haben den restlichen Nachmittag zur freien Verfügung den wir beispielsweise mit baden verbringen können bevor es wieder zurück ins Hotel geht.
Travel Day 6: Akanin'ny nofy - Port City Toamasina - Mahambo
Diesen Tag starten wir mit einer Bootsfahrt nach Toamasina entlang des Pangalanes Kanals, bei der wir das alltägliche Leben der umliegenden Dörfer entdecken. Die Stadt Toamasina ist mit ihren Rikschas und Palmen gesäumten Alleen die erste Handelshafenstadt der Insel. Anschließend fahren wir weiter nach Mahambo, ein ruhiges kleines Dorf am Meer, das uns mit seiner Lagune zum Baden einlädt.

Travel Day 7: Mahambo - Sainte Marie
Mit dem Boot geht es heute weiter auf die Insel Sainte Marie die östlich von Madagaskar im Indischen Ozean liegt und umgeben ist von türkisene Wasser und wunderschönen Stränden.
Travel day 8 & 9: Relaxation on Sainte Marie
Die nächsten 2 Tage stehen Ihnen frei zur Verfügung. Ein Ausflug auf die Insel ''Ile aux nattes'' ist möglich mit Besichtigung der Dörfer und der vielen verschiedenen Orchideen Arten. Auch ein Aufstieg auf den Gipfel der Insel kann unternommen werden und auch das Hotel bietet viele Aktivitäten an, an denen Sie sich nach Lust und Laune beteiligen können.
Travel day 10: Sainte Marie - Antananarivo
Heute fliegen Sie von Sainte Marie zurück in die Hauptstadt von Madagaskar wo Sie am Flughafen empfangen und ins Hotel gebracht werden.
Travel Day 11: Visit to the Hill
Am heutigen Vormittag besuchen wir Ambohimanga, ein Unesco Weltkulturerbe wo Ihnen die Geschichte Madagaskars nähergebracht wird. Nach anschließender Stadtrundfahrt durch Tana kehren wir zurück ins Hotel.
Travel Day 12: Departure and Return Flight to Europe
Heute gibt es noch die Möglichkeit auf dem Handwerksmarkt das ein oder andere Souvenir zu kaufen bevor Sie gegen Nachmittag zum Flughafen gebracht werden. Vollbepackt mit tollen Erinnerungen geht es heute in Richtung Heimat.
