Days 1–11

Travel Day 1: Welcome to Madagascar! Tonga Soa!

Nach Ihrer Ankunft in Antananarivo am internationalen Flughafen Ivato (TNR) werden Sie von unserem Team empfangen und in Ihr Hotel gebracht.

Travel day 2: Flight to the north of Madagascar

Transfer zum Flughafen von Ivato und Flug nach Diego Suarez wo Sie in Empfang genommen und ins Hotel gebracht werden. Hier können Sie den Rest des Tages durch die Hauptstadt des Nordens schlendern wo es im Gegensatz zu anderen madagassischen Städten viele architektonische Zeugnisse der französischen Kolonialzeit zu entdecken gibt.

Travel day 3: Visit to the Emerald Lake

Morgens verlassen Sie das Hotel für einen ganztägigen Ausflug und starten zuerst im Wagen zum Strand von Ramena. Von dort aus durchqueren Sie die Bucht in einem Fischerboot und gelangen nach passieren der roten Felsen in das azurblau leuchtende Mer d'Emeraude wo Sie auf einer einsamen Insel landen. Auf dem Rückweg legen wir einen Stopp ein wo die Korallenwelt am schönsten ist. Danach geht es mit dem Wagen wieder zurück ins Hotel.

Travel day 4: Jungle in the 'Montagne d'Ambre' National Park

Nach dem Frühstück geht es heute in den Nationalpark Montagne d'Ambre, der zu den letzten Primärwäldern Madagaskars gehört. In weniger als einer Stunde befinden wir uns mitten im frischen Grün des Urwalds der Montagne d'Ambre wo es neben einem Wasserfall auch Lemuren und Chamäleons zu sehen gibt.

Travel Day 5: Drive to the Tsingys

Am Morgen verlassen Sie den Nationalpark und fahren direkt zu den 'Tsingy Rouge', ein Meer von feuerrot leuchtenden Felsen, ein echtes Wunderwerk der Erosion. Wir steigen den Canyon hinunter und tauchen in das Labyrinth der Türme ein.

Travel day 6: Hike through the Tsingys

Nach den beeindruckenden roten Tsingys erleben Sie eine weitere spektakuläre Landschaft, die außerhalb von Madagaskar nirgends auf der Erde zu sehen ist. Das hier vor 200 Millionen Jahren entstandene Korallenriff wurde aus dem Meer gehoben und verwitterte unter dem Einfluss von Regen und Wind bis schließlich eine Landschaft aus spitzen bis zu 50 m hohen Kalksteinnadeln entstand.

Travel day 7: Drive through cocoa plantations

Früh morgens fahren Sie weiter nach Ankify und vorbei an der Stadt Ambanja, wo Sie die ganze Vielfalt der Region Sambirano und seine riesigen Kakaoplantagen, Reisfelder und kleine Dörfer entdecken. Von dem kleinen traditionellen Fischerdorf Ankify aus fahren Sie anschließend in einem privat Boot nach Nosy Be, dass mit seinen umliegenden Inseln ein wahres Paradies ist.

Travel Day 8 - 9: Relaxation at the Sea

Die nächsten 2 Tage stehen Ihnen zur freien Verfügung und so können Sie an den wunderschönen Sandstränden entspannen oder auch Ausflüge auf die umliegenden Inseln unternehmen. Auch das Landesinnere der Insel hat einiges zu bieten wie zum Beispiel das Naturreservat von Lokobe. Es stehen viele Exkursionen zur Auswahl und auch zum Tauchen und Schnorcheln bieten sich hier optimale Bedingungen.

Travel day 10: Return flight to Antananarivo

Vom Flughafen von Nosy Be fliegen Sie zurück nach Antananarivo, wo Sie in Empfang genommen und ins Hotel gebracht werden.

Travel day 11: Visit to the blue hill

Am heutigen Vormittag besuchen wir Ambohimanga, ein Unesco Weltkulturerbe wo Ihnen die Geschichte Madagaskars nähergebracht wird. Letzte Souveniers können auf dem Handwerksmarkt eingekauft werden.

Travel Day 12: Departure and Return Flight to Europe

Je nach Abflugzeit werden Sie heute zum Flughafen gebracht und fliegen vollbepackt mit tollen Erinnerungen in Richtung Heimat.
