Kazakhstan Travel and Vacation – Good to know

Almaty Airport (ALA) is the largest and best-connected airport in Kazakhstan. It offers international flights and good connections to the city and other regions. Nur-Sultan Airport (NQZ) is also recommended, especially for those visiting the capital. Expect transfer times of 30-60 minutes to the city center.
The official currency in Kazakhstan is the Tenge (KZT). Credit cards are accepted in most urban areas, but it is advisable to carry cash for smaller shops or markets.
