The Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ) in Abidjan is the best airport to fly into Ivory Coast. It connects many international flights and has well-developed transport options to the city. The local currency is the CFA franc (XOF). While many stores accept payment by credit cards, it is advisable to also have cash on hand, especially in rural areas. ATMs are common, but acceptance of credit cards is often only in larger cities. Plan to take enough cash for your daily expenses.
