Honduras Travel and Vacation – Good to know

For entry into Honduras, most travelers do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. However, check the specific requirements for your country. A visa can be applied for online or upon entry. Make sure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry to avoid problems.
The international airport Ramón Villeda Morales in San Pedro Sula is the most frequently used airport for international travelers. Tegucigalpa and Roatan also have airports, but with fewer international connections. San Pedro Sula is ideal for access to the beaches and national parks, making it often the best choice for your first stop in Honduras.
