What documents are needed for entry?

German citizens need both a valid passport and a visa. The visa is issued upon arrival at the airport and is free for a stay of up to 15 days. For a stay longer than 15 days, visa fees apply. The amount of the fees can be found on the homepage of the Embassy of Madagascar.

Days 1–11

Antananarivo – Arrival

Antananarivo – Andasibe

After breakfast the group heads east toward Andasibe on the RN2 highway. An early stop at a reptile farm introduces you to Madagascar's extraordinary chameleon diversity before the route continues into the humid eastern highlands. Andasibe – Indri & Lemur Island

Lined with rickshaws and palm-shaded boulevards, Toamasina offers a brief stop before the group continues north by road to Mahambo, a quiet coastal village with a calm lagoon suited for swimming.
