Your Romania Offroad Tour begins with the arrival at a cozy guesthouse near Sibiu/Sibiel, nestled in the gentle hills of Transylvania. In the evening, you will enjoy traditional cuisine such as Sarmale, Mămăligă with Brânză, and a glass of homemade Țuică while getting to know the group in a cozy atmosphere.
Market & first stage in the Cindrel Mountains
After a cozy start, you visit a traditional Romanian weekly market and buy last supplies. Afterwards, your Carpathian 4x4 Tour takes you along deserted paths beside a crystal-clear stream into the Cindrel Mountains: narrow forest paths, rocky ascents, and the first real off-road moments.
Carpathians Off-Road Tour through the Cindrel Mountains
Today you are completely dedicated to the Cindrel Mountains, one of the most pristine areas of Transylvania. On lonely paths you will encounter shepherds with their flocks and enjoy wide valleys, gentle hills, and dense forests on your Romanian off-road journey.
Transition to the Western Carpathians (Apuseni Mountains)
After a short asphalt stage, you change regions and reach the Western Carpathians (Munții Apuseni) with open heights and rugged rock formations. A highlight of your 4x4 adventure Romania stage is the stretch at Gemsenstein, where you may see wild chamois with a bit of luck.

Motzenland – Canyon hike & monastery
Deep in Motzenland you undertake a hike through a canyon with crystal clear stream. Afterwards, you visit a monastery from the 13th century, hidden in the mountains. You will spend the night at the foot of the "Sleeping Giant" – a powerful moment of your Transylvania Offroad Tour.
High paths & farewell to the Carpathians

Departure Day
