From the Onroad Classic motorcycle tours, we have compiled the absolute highlights of Northern Thailand for you. Dreamlike roads through a fantastic landscape. Wherever possible, overnight stays in splendid bungalow resorts and hotels. We visit waterfalls, hot springs, elephant camps, orchid farms, and craft businesses. Our route also includes villages of ethnic minorities that have settled in the mountainous regions of Northern Thailand, mostly coming from China over the last centuries. On small back roads with several passes and endless curves, we ride towards the legendary "Golden Triangle." Here, Thailand, Burma, and Laos meet. We reach Burma by walking across a bridge. To get to Laos, we must cross the mighty river ''Mekong'' in a speedboat. Every day we enjoy the fantastic cuisine of Thailand, which is among the best and most diverse in Southeast Asia.
