Daily program: Motorcycle Tours Thailand Land of Temples
Day 1: Arrival in Chiang Mai
We will pick you up directly from the airport in Chiang Mai and take you to your hotel in the city center. Between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, we will hand over your motorcycle to you. We will end the evening with a joint dinner, perfect for the start of your guided vacation adventure.
Day 2: Chiang Mai - Chiang Khong (320 km)
After breakfast, there is a short briefing on the motorcycles and the course of the tour. Then we set off towards the north, passing hot springs, to Chiang Khong, a border town to Laos. This stage is ideal for getting used to the motorcycle, as we are on well-paved roads. Motorcycle trips through this region are particularly impressive.
Day 3: Chiang Khong - Bua (288 km)
Today we drive along the Mekong and reach the Phu Chi Fa National Park, one of the most beautiful areas of Thailand, with the mountain Phu Chi Fa of the same name on the border with Laos. We take scenic and winding roads that lead us to Pua, where we end the day at the hotel. This tour offers breathtaking views.
Day 4: Bua - Nan (266 km)
We continue on breathtaking roads to the Huai Kon border crossing (Laos), where we visit an authentic border market without tourist kitsch. After that, we reach Bo Kluea, where we can observe salt extraction. The rock salt obtained there is over 800 years old. Afterwards, we continue on fantastic motorcycle routes to our hotel in Nan, where we can relax with a massage or by the pool. Discover motorcycle travel at the highest level.
Day 5: Nan - Na Noi (245 km)
The journey today takes us on dreamy, deserted roads through a quiet, majestic landscape along the Laotian border. We cross several majestic mountains and finally reach Na Noi, where we visit the Sri Nan National Park with its extraordinary rock formations before checking into the hotel. Tours in this region are unforgettable.
Day 6: Na Noi - Sukhothai (238 km)
Today we will reach the impressive Sirikit Reservoir at noon, Thailand's largest reservoir with an area of 250 km². On the lake, we can observe the activities of the fishermen on their stilt houses. A highlight of our holiday adventure is the ferry crossing that takes us to Sukhothai.
Day 7: Sukhothai - Mae Sot (247 km)
After breakfast, we explore the historic Khmer-style temples of Sukhothai and then continue our journey to Mae Sot. On the way, we pass a picturesque waterfall and hot springs. We spend the night in a first-class hotel with a pool, near the border crossing to Myanmar. The tour operator OVERCROSS ensures top-notch accommodations.
Day 8: Mae Sot - Mae Sariang (250 km)
Before we set off to Mae Sariang, we visit the border market to Myanmar. Today's route takes us along the border river Nam Yuam. In the early afternoon, we check into our hotel right by the river, where we can relax by the pool or enjoy a massage. Experience motorcycle travel on the most beautiful routes.
Day 9: Mae Sariang - Chiang Mai (246 km)
After a hearty breakfast, we start our return journey to Chiang Mai. The route passes through picturesque roads with breathtaking landscapes, hot springs, and a charming waterfall. After a relaxing drive, we reach our hotel. We celebrate the conclusion of our eventful tour with a shared dinner.
Day 10: Chiang Mai - Departure
