Daily program: Motorcycle trip Andalusia: Guided Enduro trip through Spain's mountain world
Day 1: Arrival in La Herradura & first evening by the sea
Your journey begins in the small coastal town La Herradura, only 60 km east of Málaga and 80 km south of Granada. The region is one of the driest and sunniest areas in Europe. Ideal conditions for an enduro tour in winter.
You can arrive on your own axis or conveniently fly to Málaga; the bus to La Herradura costs around 6 € and goes directly to the town.
After check-in at the hotel just a few minutes' walk from the beach, we let the day wind down relaxed and prepare together for the upcoming off-road stages.
Day 2: Offroad basic training & first Enduro kilometers
As an introduction, you will receive a half-day offroad training: balance, braking on loose surfaces, cornering techniques while standing, and behavior on gravel and slate.
Experienced riders receive technical tips for more demanding maneuvers.
After lunch on the beach, it goes into the backcountry of the Sierra Almijara: first mountain tracks, gravel paths, and nature trails, perfect for directly applying what has been learned and getting into the flow.
Day 3: Remote mountain villages & varied ridges
We dive deep into the Andalusian mountain world: pine forests, rock steps, steep ascents and descents, and long gravel passages, which are typical for the region between Almuñécar and the Alpujarras.
The daily stage takes us through white mountain villages far from mass tourism, where we stop for lunch. Depending on the group and conditions, we drive 4-6 hours off-road and discover the first panoramic routes with views of the sea and mountains.
Day 4: Rest day or own activities
Today you determine the pace. You can:
relax at the beach,
stroll comfortably through La Herradura,
take a trip to Nerja, Málaga or Granada,
or still drive if you still have energy.
The rest day is consciously integrated to regenerate body and concentration before the longer off-road stages follow. This day is also ideal for accompanying persons to explore the region.
Day 5: Gravel tracks, technical sections & mountain ridges
Back on the motorcycles, the route takes us over varied off-road sections: dry riverbeds, gravel passes, short technical single sections, and flowing forest trails.
Difficult places are always bypassable, so you can choose your own pace. The mix of sea view, mountain landscape, and rough terrain makes this day one of the most varied of the tour.
Day 6: Altitudes & solitary nature paths
We reach heights today between 1,000 and 1,500 meters, depending on weather and group. The trails are dry, dusty, and winding - typical for the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
We spend the lunch break again in a remote mountain village, before the route leads back towards the coast over wide gravel tracks and slate slopes.
Day 7: Final off-road round through the coastal mountains
At the end, a last stage awaits you through the mountains above La Herradura and Almuñécar. Flowing trails, open gravel routes, and panoramic paths with sea views summarize the highlights of the week once again.
In the evening we celebrate together the end of a tour that perfectly combines sun, asphalt freedom, and the Andalusian mountain world.
Day 8: Departure & individual extension
After breakfast, you start your journey home or extend your stay to enjoy a few warm days in the south. You can easily return to Málaga by bus.
