Daily program: Damaraland Offroad Enduro Adventure
Day 1: Start in Windhoek
We pick you up at the airport or - for those who have already acclimatized - at the hotel. Opportunity for shopping or a late breakfast. To save us the drive on asphalt, gravel roads, and through fenced farmland, we transfer you by bus to Omaruru where the motorcycles await us at the River Guesthouse. In Okahandja, we make a stop and visit the African wood carving market. Accommodation & meals: Guesthouse & dinner.
Day 2: Off into the Bush!
After a short stretch on the gravel road, we turn off for some off-road fun on well-worn jeep tracks. Dense bush, some sand, rocky passages - the route is very varied. As we approach the dry riverbed, we must look out for elephants. Accommodation: Camping or luxury tent breakfast and dinner.
Day 3: In the Middle of Nowhere
We continue northwest through a marshy, bizarre mountain landscape until we reach a dried-up river. Along the way, we make a stop at petrified trees that were washed ashore from a different climate era. Once we reach the dry river, we will look for the legendary desert elephants. Accommodation & meals: Camping or luxury tent breakfast and dinner.
Day 4: Twyfelfontein - Brandberg
Today we leave everything at the campsite and undertake a circular tour. At a remote gas station, we will need to refuel. The tour is extremely varied: first, we will attempt to climb a dune, then take jeep tracks through rocky mountains, and there are several water crossings awaiting us. We take a lunch break at a prehistoric cave. Accommodation & meals: Camping or luxury tent breakfast and dinner.
Day 5: Brandberg
We visit some cultural and archaeological highlights. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Twyfelfontein, with its rock engravings up to six thousand years old, and we will see how the Damara people lived in the past. After a lunch break at the Twyfelfontein Lodge, there's an off-road stage to Brandberg. At the foot of Namibia's highest mountain lies the White Lady Lodge. Accommodation & meals: Camping or luxury tent / room breakfast and dinner.
Day 6: Uis
This stage takes us along the dry river. Wind-eroded rock formations and a magnificent view over the river valley will impress us. We follow the jeep tracks through the desert landscape to the mining town of Uis. Accommodation & meals: Room breakfast. Dinner at your own expense in the restaurant.
Diese Etappe wirft oft Fragen auf, da die Winderodierten Felsformationen und die Jeep Tracks besondere Herausforderungen bieten. Informationen zu den Sandbedingungen und dem Ausblick kannst du gerne nachfragen.
Day 7: Spitzkoppe
Today, the Namibian Matterhorn awaits us. In the distance, you can already see it, but there is still a varied route to get there. By early afternoon, we are at Spitzkoppe, and we have the opportunity to view the natural bridge and the impressive rock formations. Accommodation & meals: Camping or luxury tent with breakfast and dinner.
Day 8: Desert Sea Meets Water Sea
The rugged Atlantic coast calls. On the off-road route, we cross the Namib Desert. In the small coastal town of Hentiesbay, we will refuel and make our way to Swakopmund. The many very good steak and fish restaurants invite us for dinner in the fresh Atlantic air. Accommodation & meals: Room. Breakfast. Dinner at your own expense in the restaurant.
Day 9: Swakopmund
Today morning we have time to explore this German-influenced town and have breakfast in one of the many cafés. There is also the opportunity to visit the museum or the crystal gallery or participate in other activities. In the afternoon, we cruise with quads through the vast dune area of Swakopmund. Even quad critics will return grinning. Accommodation & meals: Room. Breakfast and dinner at your own expense in the restaurant.
Day 10: Back to Windhoek
Today the route leads back to Windhoek. The route is a straight asphalt road. Therefore, we load the motorcycles onto the trailer and transfer you back to Windhoek. Opportunity for shopping in the city. Accommodation & meals: Room. Breakfast and dinner at your own expense in the restaurant. (Joes Beerhouse)
Day 11: Desert Sea Meets Water Sea
Today it’s time to say goodbye and embark on the journey home.... or for those who are not ready yet, start an additional holiday! For example, Cape Town is just a flight away! ;-)
