Ich bin Rundstrecken Rennfahrer, kann ich davon ausgehen, dass es Fahrtechnisch für mich leicht sein wird?

Auf Straße ja, im Gelände NEIN gerade die Rennfraktion tut sich schwer wenn der Untergrund lose ist! 2024 hatten wir einen Rundstreckenfahrer dabei und glaube mir der hat hart gearbeitet und 6 Kilo auf der Strecke gelassen bis er das Ziel Kapstadt erreicht hat.

Kann ich auch schon in Namibia aussteigen?

Ja, das kannst du, dein Motorrad kann nach Kapstadt transportiert werden und dort mit dem Sammelcontainer zurück gebracht werden oder von Namibia / Windhoek aus nach Europa Transportiert werden

This motorcycle tour is an expedition with enduro motorcycles through the African continent on the "West Route". YOU have the option to participate in the Trans Africa Expedition with your own enduro bike or YOU can rent the fully equipped Yamaha Ténéré 700 Rally from OVERCROSS. The Trans Africa GOOO WEST expedition, with its approximately 15,000 kilometers is the most demanding motorcycle expedition across the African continent to date! Since 2014, we have been running Trans Africa expeditions and we guarantee that NO other expedition reach this level of demand! Forget everything you know from books and stories, this motorcycle expedition will exceed all your expectations and will for adventure, in a way that you will never forget!
For the motorcycle riders among us who are not lucky enough to take so many vacation days for the adventure, there is the possibility to participate in three weeks from Europe to Ghana with the rental motorcycle.

Daily program: Transafrica GO WEST the Long Way Down

Stage 1: From Europe via the Ivory Coast to Ghana

Motorcycle Expedition in Senegal

Today we cross the border into Senegal. Our motorcycle tour takes us through Saint-Louis, a charming colonial town at the mouth of the Senegal River into the Atlantic. Afterwards, we continue through the Sahel, the transitional region between the Sahara in the north and the dry savanna in the south. Tonight we camp directly on the Atlantic Ocean, accompanied by a legendary cuisine and a dinner that ranks among the highlights of the expedition. Here we can also expect what is likely the best breakfast of the entire Transafrica expedition, the coffee is legendary and considered the best along the entire West African coast.

Expedition through the Courtyard of Hell: Nigeria

On the last day of the second stage, we cross the border into Nigeria. Unfortunately, Nigeria in the south of Africa is also known for its high crime rate. We reach Lagos, the largest city in Nigeria. Lagos is often referred to as the "gateway to hell," while Kinshasa (in the DR Congo) is considered "hell itself." Here we spend the night in a 5-star hotel, where our contact person welcomes us and has already prepared everything for crossing Nigeria.

Motorcycle tour through Nigeria and Cameroon

At the border post "Out of Nowhere," we leave Nigeria and, after about 20 kilometers, reach a small village hut in Cameroon. This hut is recognizable only by a flag; otherwise, the border crossing is rather informal, partly because the local customs office does not issue an entry stamp. Without an official stamp, we continue on and look for an overnight stay, which will prove to be a real challenge. We will also master this night before finally reaching the capital Yaoundé.

Motorcycle adventure to the Gollas in the Republic of Congo

Over perfectly developed roads we cross the Republic of Congo until we reach a camp where we set up our base. Here we take part in a gorilla tour, a unique experience since there are only a few silverback gorillas left in this region. Their population is threatened with extinction.

The goal of the motorcycle expedition: South Africa

Passing the impressive sand dunes of Sossusvlei, Keetmanshoop and the massive granite formations, we finally reach the border crossing at the Orange River. After leaving behind the river landscape and the border post, we continue on to the Swartberg mountains. After endless kilometers, hundreds of adventures and unforgettable experiences, we finally arrive in Cape Town, the Rainbow City.
