After the handover of the motorcycles, we start our adventure along the dreamy southern coast of Crete. On well-maintained roads, we head towards the historic, ancient Minoan port town of Lentas. This charming place, surrounded by steep cliffs and crystal clear water, is the perfect entry into our journey. The first day is not only about getting to know each other better but also about experiencing the relaxed Greek way of life to the fullest. From Matala, we start our journey along the impressive southwestern coast of Crete. We drive over the historic port of Kokkinos Pyrgos, a hidden gem, and make our way to the majestic Psiloritis, also known as the Ida Mountains, the highest peak on the island. On winding roads, we traverse the breathtaking mountain slopes of the Ida Mountains, where spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and the deep blue sea take our breath away time and again. Our destination is the small village of Zaros, where we relax at the end of the day – with a cup of freshly brewed Greek mountain tea, which has been cherished here for centuries. Here, nature, culture, and hospitality blend into an unforgettable experience that enriches us with new impressions and unforgettable moments.

Today, we head from Matala along winding mountain passes towards the northeast, into the imposing Dikti Mountains and onto the picturesque Lassithi Plateau. This fascinating part of Crete, famous for its traditional windmills, reveals the true fertility of the island. The landscape is characterized by green valleys, steep hills, and endless olive groves. But not only nature has left its mark here: The Lassithi Plateau is a historically rich site that can look back on thousands of years of history. On our journey, we dive into the past and have the opportunity to admire impressive remains of Minoan settlements. This region was once the center of ancient civilization and a significant trade and cultural center in the Mediterranean. Those who wander through the plateau can not only immerse themselves in Crete's fascinating history but also experience the diverse, unspoiled nature that the island has to offer.

Today's stage is the true king stage! We start in the authentic mountain village of Anógia, known for its traditional architecture and eventful history. From there, we continue up to the majestic Nida Plateau, one of the highest points of Crete – and not just that: According to mythology, the god Zeus is said to have stayed here personally. The view is simply spectacular and allows us to delve deep into ancient history. From the Nida Plateau, we finally have several options to reach the southern coast, where crystal-clear beaches and charming villages await us. Whether through remote valleys or along rugged coastal paths – this stage promises an unparalleled experience and an unforgettable view of the diversity of Crete!

We are in for an unforgettable day on the breathtaking southwestern coast of Crete! We start our motorcycle journey with a view of the fishing village of Agia Galini, which has retained its charming, unspoiled character. Next, we continue along the quiet, golden beaches of Agios Pavlos, surrounded by crystal clear water and a soothing atmosphere – the ideal place for a little break. But the true highlight awaits high above the coast: the historic Monastery of Prévelli, majestically perched on a rock and offering a spectacular view of the Libyan Sea. After a refreshing rest at the monastery, we continue our tour and reach the small coastal village of Plakias, which enchants with its unspoiled beauty and tranquil atmosphere. Our exploration leads us further to the Venetian castle of Frangokástello, which proudly overlooks the coast and is surrounded by fascinating legends. For those who still haven't had enough adventure, there is the option to continue along the coast and return through Chora Sfakion and the charming Rethymnon, before finally reaching the beautiful beaches of Matala. This stage is a true journey through history, nature, and breathtaking views.
