The ride starts as you leave busy Nairobi behind. Gravel roads and winding country lanes lead toward Aberdare National Park. Along the way, you pass tea and coffee plantations and traditional African villages. The last stretch gets tough — muddy tracks and tight bends bring the first real adrenaline of the trip. In the park, you may spot elephants, buffalo, and even leopards. You stay overnight in a lodge deep in nature. At night, animals visit the nearby watering holes.
