Far in the south of the deep blue Adriatic, nestled in the dramatic mountain world of the Balkans, lies Montenegro. Almost 80% of the country's area consists of pristine nature: forests, meadows, and alpine plateaus as far as the eye can see. Montenegro is home to true natural wonders: the largest lake in the Balkans, the southernmost fjord in Europe, the Tara Canyon – Europe's deepest gorge and the second largest in the world, as well as one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe in Biogradska Gora National Park. Our snowmobile adventure trips take you right into the adventure – into the fascinating region of Sinjajevina, known for its vast high plateaus and some of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in Montenegro. In summer, the largest pasture area in the Balkans, Sinjajevina transforms in winter into a snowy wilderness with breathtaking panoramic views. Surrounding the area are traditional towns like Kolašin, Mojkovac, Žabljak, Šavnik, Nikšić, and Danilovgrad. In between, you will find numerous Katuns – rustic mountain villages that lie deep in snow and deserted in the silence of the mountains during winter. A true experience for adventurers, photographers, and nature lovers! On our adventure trips in winter through the Balkans, we have the opportunity to see these Katuns in Montenegro or at least what is still recognizable under the thick blanket of snow.
