The Bishkek Manas International Airport (FRU) is the best airport to reach Kyrgyzstan. From there, there are regular flights to other cities and tourist spots. Plan your arrival time well to organize transport to the mountains or the city early.
The local currency is the Kyrgyz Som (KGS). While larger cities often accept credit cards, it is advisable to always carry cash. ATMs are available in Bishkek, but make sure you have enough cash for remote areas. Carrying US dollars can be beneficial.
